the game at jasper that was a tie and silsbee won on first downs was a good one too...i believe the QB(mathews)got a thigh bruise and would just stand by the ball (so he wouldn't have to walk to the huddle) when silsbee broke the huddle they would tell him the play...a true warrior....i believe silsbee considers this more of a rivalry than jasper does.... I disagree with that, most of the older folks from Jasper that I know considers Silsbee their biggest rivalry.

I am calling it right now. Silsbee will win the district this year. There will be no sharing the title with the Hawks this year.

I agree. Same as last year everyone was saying the same thing about Silsbee last year. People seem to forget the Tigers only won 1 predistrict game last year, and Silsbee hammered every team in district except for WOS and they were lucky to win that game.
