Different age groups are different time limits. Nothing wrong with director having a team. Most we've played in the director had @ least 1 team. I'm sure that dealing w/weather they made adjustments the best they could & dealing with odd number of teams some have to play more than once.

If the coach & kids were the same team within the league that was drafted the previous year then they'd say yes you stay together. New to the league there are draft rules. If you want to handpick a team or bring a team with you where you go then join a "select" league.

Not trying to spoil it. Think it is good idea but we play both league and select. Just trying to get info if eligible to play or not.

So if you are on a select roster then you aren't able to play in this rec league even if your select teams are not playing in tournaments during this rec league timeframe?

Will select teams be allowed in this spring league unlike the fall?

Not in Lonestar anymore but rules used to be if you didn't have your MPR by beginning of 4th qtr then those players started 4th qtr and they didn't come out until met MPR. I find it hard to believe that a 4th qtr had less than 8 plays and 2 kiddos didn't get plays in due to an opposing coach sitting on the ball. Sounds to me like Silsbee coaches hurt the little ones not league.

It is Saturday, Nov 12th @ Provost Umphrey (Lamar Stadium). It is usually the game before each SuperBowl. Peewee is usually 8-830. Jr around 1 & Sr around 5.Haven't heard dates/times for practices.

My recollection is North is teams from Kountze, Lumberton, Beaumont & Vidor. South is teams from LC, BC, OF, Nederland & WOS (when not in Superbowl). PNG doesn't participate. My guess is PA would be in South this year.

Does ProBowl & SuperBowl teams follow same maximum practice rules & MPR as regular season?
