1.
BigTitan, This isn't the time or place for a discussion on race, but since we're here.... It's comical for sensible people to watch our black friends try to defend their ruffled feathers over the "n-word" when you've probably got a hundred songs on your iPod that use that "horrible, offensive" word.  If black people really found that word offensive, we wouldn't know who Kanye West is.  Period.  The fact that y'all get so offended if a seven-year old white kid drops that bomb is amazing, considering that YOUR race worships guys who drop it all of the time.  In fact, I'd dare say that you, BigTitan, in all probability use it when you're in the company of your black friends. The real racists aren't seven year olds that use words like that or queer or whatever.  The real racists are grown-ups that look for the slightest possibility that race might be the major driving force behind all of the issues in life that are found to be unfavorable.  Whether it's white folks moaning about blacks on welfare or black folks moaning about whites keeping em' down. I think you cleared up how you feel, and how I've always suspected a lot of folks feel, when you said "but hearing some stories that were told to me, CERTAIN people would have REASON to Hate another.
The first person to bring up race on this thread, is the one that says this isn't the time or place for race talk.  Wow.  That classic bro. lol
 2.

I think all of the posts from Titan Fan about the whole league being "scared of the talent" and "racially motivated" (my paraphrasing, btw) are laughable.  We watched the STJFL Titans (not just one team, but several), and while they were successful, I don't think ANYBODY was scared of playing them.  In fact, the only people that I saw scared were the PA folks watching their Senior team play BC when their QB got the wood laid on him by Justyn Romero.  Close game, considering we took every kid that wanted to play from little ol' 6k population BC and hung with the hand-selected "best" from 48k population PA.... That was also the only day we saw the police at an STJFL game... One of the PA fans got ejected for cursing a ref, then refused to leave.  The police had to escort him.  Seems like he didn't understand the concept of "rules" either.  And as far as the local 4a schools being scared to play the Titans... We're not scared of the game, we're just scared to walk back to the car at your stadium after the game.  Right, WB?
[IMG][Hidden Content]]
What would a person say if they were told that a coach kept his team from the previous year together.  I hear that coaches draft young to get an older team for the next year.  Give me an answer to that question, and I'll respond again.  Just answer that simple question.  Anyone.
 3.
I really felt for the Father who had to explain to his kid what those racist young white kids meant when they were dropping N bombs out there.  It made me think back to the time that I had to explain the N word to my kid....  "Look, Mike jr..... It's a horrible word used by some people to call a black person that points out centuries of unjust treatment and enslavement.  It's also a word used by rap artists to sell m-m-m-millions of  CDs, but that's different."   There's two different sets of rules, ain't there, One4all? I'm way off track, so forgive me.  Later.
I have no idea what that ignorant sarcastic statement was about, but this is my statement. We know when the N word is said out of hatred and ignorance. Thats the issue.  Not what a rapper says that makes him all those m m millions.  When we were called THAT word YEARS ago, more than likely that night, someone was being hung by a tree or killed.  Some were spit on, kicked out of buses, kicked out of diners, etc...  Some of these people were treated worse than animals.  So when the word is said with malice, we feel differently about it.  I could care less if you understand that.  Thats the HATE that my grandfather and my mother dealt with when they were younger years ago.  I've been told stories of hatred that you couldn't even comprehend.  I totally disagree with any form of racism from any race, but hearing some stories that were told to me, CERTAIN people would have REASON to Hate another.
 4.
BigTitan at that game you talking about when the score was run up looks bad on yall but it happpens like that sometimes. You call off the dogs on offense but you cant stop a defense score and you dont ever let you team shut down for nobody. If a team cant stop your 2 or 3 string thats on them. People on here think if the game was 40-0 that you put your players that need they plays in when its 30-0 before the last 10 seconds. But things happen but until you been a coach you dont know how hard that is. I had kids they dont want no part of offense and thats hard if you only keep D in 4 and out. Most the coaches in STJFL do respect the FIGHT in a team from PA or anywhere. For the stacking all I can tell you is what I heard and I already said on here.... and yes I said HEARD so I cant speak for it exactly but I know this dude well that told me. The problem with the PA teams was that the signups was cut off 3 months early for all PA and they paperwork was all messed up. He say that the thing about the cuts came up later. I could see why that a problem because most the signups come right before football start up and PA might of had more teams if they followed the rule. That was about all the PA teams so thay all got put out the playoffs. It might not been on purpose by PA but they cant let teams that did it right go against teams that cut off early but they DID let them play the year.  Last I was told was STJFL was waiting to hear from PA president to see if thay could work things out so maybe you ask him to try and call STJFL president to get the answer. I can talk about the PNG teams because I know how that works. I saw both them teams play that was 8-0 and 0-8 and it was more about the coach. Well not all because the one team had a player you could build around. I heard on here that hes not the hole team and thats true but you take him off and they maybe a 4-4 team or put him on the 0-8 team and they 4-4 too.... He just that good. The same thing happen when he was in peewee when they went to the superbowl and won.  Not talking bad about any coach but most of them is dads and they are some good ones like the bad ones and most not a pro coach. We all been faced with race from a young age and that didnt change from when I was a kid. It always come from the parents and that is sad. In this area for sure because we all so close we dont need to be split so hard. I had to talk to my kids like you say you talk to yours and it goes both ways though. I had a white kid come tell me a black kid told him some stuff on the field too and that was a 7 year old peewee game. It start way too early for these kids to deal with. That why I was so mad when I saw PA make this into a race thing when I know better. That makes every thing worse. If yall want people on here to know your side then you need to listen more then you talk and get all sides. And most importatnt is dont make it about what its not. I was told more then once that STJFL wanted PA to change some of yall board out. I dont know why they told you that just like I dont know why yall didnt do what they said. But yall both had a right to make the choice yall made and things didnt work out right. Now yall got a new choice to stay on here and hate or move on to bigger and better. I truely hope PA land on yalls feet where ever that is!
Good Post bro.  Bro has nothing to do with race. lol jk

This is coming from a 10 yr old mind you. lol Fast forward to our PNG P game.  We're scoring at will, with the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd team.  One of our players was called out of his name, (we know what word was used) and the coach told the player to don't worry about it, just play ball.  He did so.  It kept happening and the situation was brought to the refs attention and it was difussed.  I had to explain to my son that those kids learned those words from their parents, and when you hear kids saying that, don't be mad at them, because they think thats its OK, because its being said at home. He said, and I quote, " Well, Bridge City "KIDS" can teach "SOME" of the PNG  P "PARENTS"  a lesson in sportsmanship and good manners. lmao  And he was very serious when he said it. lol I hate the fact that I have to explain to my son the N word at such a young age.  Every race has its good and its bad and its horrible.  Most are good in every race, and that's the people I associate with.  The bad and horrible BLACKS, WHITES, HISPANICS, ETC.  I stay away from, and thats just human nature from responsible people and parents.  The ignorance of the SOME, doesn't distort my opinion of the WHOLE.    I wished all people used that logic when dealing with others. Judge my by the content of my character, and I'll do the same. This next statement has nothing to do with wanting to rejoin STJFL. Its just my Opinion.  In life, people  do make mistakes, and aren't given the death penalty.  Why can't anyone understand that in your first year everything isn't going to go smooth.  That doesn't mean that the rules that were broken were intentional.  To some of you (I've been reading) lol, its black and white.  Its simple, they TRIED TO "CHEAT".  That's too easy of an explanation to be the truth.  Sometimes you have to really investigate the situation and see what happened and you'll really  find out that it wasn't intentional at all.  You may not believe it, but a lot of these kids play together on other teams (other sports), and these coaches coach other sports also, so do you think these volunteers (coaches) would intentionally cut kids because they want a STACKED team.  If you believe that, you're dead wrong.  I know these guys personally, and I won't lie for anybody.  I totally understand the playoff situation, BUT why not just that team?  Why the entire league, on down to the flag kids?  Come up with an answer for that.  That was a sign from the league of what they really thought about PA.  I would rather see my son COMPETE (lets not forget that word when discussing football)  against the best and LOSE, than to WIN and dodge real competion.  Thats just me.  Regardless of if a team is "STACKED" or not, these kids are all the same age, and I will NEVER allow my son to be intimidated by another kid HIS OWN AGE because he's somehow better.  Like I said baby, in PA, "We FIght, We Fight, We Fight". lol You Fellas  Be Blessed.  Fight On, All Teams BigTitan out!!! lol
that's a lot of words to say we "didn't mean to cheat" or "we didn't mean to break the rules"  ::)
If thats what you got from my post, then it is what it is. Like I said, be blessed.  Fight on, ALL teams.  PA isn't the first to unknowingly break a rule, and they wont be the last.  What do you have to say about PNG having a undefeated team, another good team, and a winless team.???  If you can't answer that logically, then please kill the PA Jr team being Stacked issue.  Last time I heard, they LOST 2 games.  Not undefeated, like PNG W or winless like PNG G.  That is a huge disparity for coaches that say they don't stack their teams.  Obviously, someone got a better deal with their team. Try explaining that fact and please make sense.

 9. I'm done with football.  My kid's goin play golf. lol  This is too much of a headache.  Golf, here we come.  You guys be blessed and prosperous.
 10.
Come on Big Titan, RJ may be the reason we scored 3 TD's, but only scored 2 times against us. Once on a kickoff and one big play. We as a team held ya'll in check during that game. It takes more then one player to do that against PA or WOS. Give us a little credit. There's no doubt that eventually PA is going to get some trophies and I would love see ya'll stay. Keep us updated on what happens.
I didn't say that he was the reason you guys won,  its called a team.  I acknowledged that he is a PA kid.  That's it.  I also stated that he might be the best Jr player in the league.  Nothing about him being the entire team, READ my post AGAIN.  If we were stacking this team, I would have told them to go and talk to his dad and see if he would come join the PA Titans. lol  I'm just saying, if we were stacking.
 11.
I find it funny that P.A.(actually 2 posters from P.A.) lump all the cities together and accuse us of racism, being weak, etc....but are complaining that we should not lump the entire P.A. organization as cheaters because of one team or one coach. That my friends is double standards.
First of all, the team that was accused of cheating did nothing of the sort.  We have to get that str8.  So being labeled that doesn't matter because most of us know what happened.  If we stacked a team, do you think those kids would have lost a game.  Let's use some common sense.  SOME of the people from these other cities have shown their prejudice towards some of us.  That sir is a fact.  I did not say that the orgainization was racist.  I wanted to know why my league was kicked out.  There are other teams that have amazing talent, black players, and win (WOS).  So us being new in the league, amazing talent, and being black : one or two of those were a factor.  I could care less who lives in a fantasy land and believes that people don't get treated differently because of the color of their skin.  I know all too well that if this was a caucasian team,  a decision this blatant, cruel, and swift would not have been made.  Sometimes we have to stop the politics and be real.  I've given examples of the ignorance that was shown by KIDS of an opposing team . You're telling me that it came from their little innocent minds or the minds of adults that arent prejudice???? Mind you, I said some, not ALL.  But SOME is enough to tarnish the image of the entire league.  Honesty is the best policy no matter who's feelings get hurt.
 12. PA kids have always been a little bit faster, stronger, and tougher.  PNG W's best player (maybe the best in the league in Jr) is a PA kid.  He left the Cowboys 3 yrs ago for STJFL.  In the PA Jr games after their early mishaps, they destroyed the competition.  Almost on every play a player on the opposing team was either crying or on the ground.  One time their were 4 on the ground at the same time.  I heard parents say they're hitting too hard. lol  One guy said, "they're used to violence" as I was walking behind him to the concession stand.  But thats neither here nor there.  Used to it.  When next year comes and we don't play against PNG, Ned, Vid, Lum, etc: I will just tell my son the truth:  They're scared their kid's teams will never win another Super Bowl with the combination of PA and WOS in the league.  I teach my kid to fear nothing and no one.  Some coaches from those cities missed that lesson as a child.  Its really possible if PA would have made the playoffs, they could have won the SuperBowl in every division.  No Joke.  Look at the stats.  One of the best flag, pwee, jr, and sr teams.  2nd best overall record in the league behind WOS by one or two games. Wow, I would be scarred too.  (Their 1st year) lol jk
Lets be honest here. It is a shame that Port Arthur were voted out of STJFL. We can all blame it on violations, cheating, stacking and many other reasons. But the truth will never come out! It was one thing for the Port Arthur kids to have good talent and win their games but it becomes a problem in STJFL League when they win too many games! If anyone remembers, Port Arthur was punished for the assuption of STACKING, in which STJFL punished them by taking playoff opportuinity away.
You want facts okay! #1. Stjfl punished Port Arthur for improper registration. A punishment that was served out #2. Port Arthur played a great season without altercations that lead up to indefinate suspension, disqualifications, or MPRs not being met. #3. Port Arthur's overall wins vs. loses were the best in the league. #4. The fate of Port Arthur was not an issue during the entire season. #5. Port Arthur's kids were not able to participated in the Super Bowl to be crowned champions but they were asked to participate in the Pro Bowl (to help the other teams) WHAT MORE CAN I SAY or WHAT OTHER FACTS DO YOU WANT? Let me guess these facts are all reason why Port Arthur should STAY IN STJFL? Or are these facts the reason WHY THEY WERE KICKED OUT? QUOTE: The only thing worst than someone being racist, is PRETENDING THAT THEY ARE NOT!
There you go again....No way to "prove" whether I am or am not a racist based on what I said....your comments however is "proof" you played the race card..... Even "if" what you say is correct and are facts, what is there to gain by bashing STJFL on this basis. It would seem to me, it would only create more hostility. Therefore you aren't helping the kids of PA, you are doing them no more good than the ones you accuse.... ;) To be proactive rather than reactive might serve you and the kids of PA better.....just saying
If you were slapped in the face, would you react or be proactive?  The City of Port Arthur was disrespected by the STJFL, and the league president wasn't notified of his league's termination.  If anyone thinks thats ok, you're pathetic and they're cowards for not being men and tell this man about their decision face to face.
