Congrats to the 99 Beaumont Blast who placed 5th out of 25 teams in the A class ASA state tournament in Tyler,Tx. Also thanks to our coaches Jenna Rodriguez and Courtney Rhodus for giving everything they have in to making this a better team. Good luck Blast in the ASA Southern Nationals in August.

Congratulations to the 14u Blast on taking 3rd in a field of 37 teams. Also thanks to our coaches Jenna Rodriguez and Courtney Rhodus for pushing our girls both physically and mentally beyond what they thought they could do. Great job ladies for our 1st year in 14u.

Congratulations to 99 Blast for coming through the losers bracket to make it to the final game of the tournament to take 2nd. They knocked out Texas Firecrackers, Texas Aces Express and GT Shockers before losing to the Texas Sting 1-0 in the championship. Our area represented very well as the GT shockers also took 3rd. We would also like to thank our coaches Jenna Rodriguez and Courtney Rhodus for the level of softball we have been able to play at this point.

Beaumont Blast 99 went through the field of 16 teams undefeated to bring back the championship to Beaumont. We would like to thank our coaches Jenna Rodriguez and Courtney Rhodus for getting our girls to compete at a very high level. Also congrats to our other local teams the Gt Shockers 2000 for placing 5th (correct if I'm wrong) and the 2001 GT Shockers for making a strong showing in the 12u division.

Congratulations to 97 GT Shockers on going undefeated in bracket play to bring home the championship. It was a total team effort and we are very proud of our girls. It was a cold and windy day but our team fought through it. Thank you to coach Jennifer and James for the patience and persistence in working with these girls. Thank you to the parents for sitting through such miserable conditions. Again, congrats and see everyone at Ford Park this weekend.

Orangefield at HJ
in High School Softball- 2014

What a great game to watch. Back and forth which HJ finally won 4-3. It was also kind of sad to see the seniors play their final home game. Orangefield has beating up on us for many years and finally we were able to get a couple of wins this year. I rode home with my daughter after the game and she was kinda sad and glad all at the same time. We talked about the players on OFs team,especially Ashton G. who we think has been one of the best hitters in our district the last four years. She was happy we won the game but had mixed feelings when Ashton hit that last fly ball off my younger daughter to her in left field for the final out. We wish Orangefield all the best in the playoffs and thanks for the memories of the last four years.
