1. Congrats to everyone who made the list...but I agree that the first 11 should be 1st Offense, next 11 should be 2nd Offense, etc.. K, UT...the list that we see should read 1st Team 2nd Team 3rd Team 4th Team ;D
 2. STJFL Vs LONESTAR Vs TIFI... ;D
 3. Oh...I had not heard of him...I always here the Jalili (sp) kid's name...
 4.
Last time I checked there where 11 positions on offense and 11 on defense, that's the # of 1st team and 2nd team players there should be, having 23 1st team offensive people is rediculous. I also think once you've been chosen to a spot that should be it and consider other players for the other spots. Sonnier from Nederland was easily the MVP of the district and not 1st team WR, that's meant as a compliment to Trevin not a gripe, has was the most valuable player in the district, Gonzales should have been 1st team QB. As for Nelson from PNG, the stats don't lie, he should have been 1st team, I just don't think we need 5 WR's on 1st team, 2 or 3 at the most, I think it takes away from what the better players did when you water it down this much, might as well give out participation ribbons like the elementary track meets do. Coach of the year was debatable, Coach Crouch was deserving as where 2 or 3 others, I think it shows the respect the other coaches have for Coach Crouch that he was chosen, even though he didn't make the playoffs he did an outstanding job. J. Nelson not being first team is about the biggest goof I have seen on one of these lists. Here are some final stats... T. Sonnier 20  188      1 B. Salenga 28  444      4 J. Nelson  74  1123    12  it is not even close. Take away the two extra games and Nelson still had more catches, yards, and TD's than those two combined. And he is a second teamer?
Not trying to keep this going, but the stats on Sonnier are wrong from the top of my head.  And why only compare Nelson to the two Nederland boys. Did the rest on the list have over 1000 yards too?
I'm no rocket scientists, but if coaches nominate their own players...I just think coach nelson did not nominated his own son...I couldn't do it either...IMO.
What are you talking about? There is no Coach Nelson at PN-G.
