[/quote] OK ...let me edumacate u...let me learn u something...IN THIS offense a play is called to one side of the field...most of the times...IF a QB is looking at a receiver...I agree with u..that QB is wrong...but for you to say he's starring down one receiver, like you're in hi helmet...nah...doubt it...Second, have u heard the term "READ THE DEFENSE"...this happens twice...one before the snap/and then AGAIN TO THE SIDE THE PLAY IS CALLED after the snap...the QB will be looking at a LB to make a choice or a DB in cover 2 to step up and cover the short route or go deep and give up the short route...heard of the term "PICK A PART A DEFENSE" this would be what a QB is doing when he is "STARRING DOWN A RECEIVER"......don't u think playing the position/game would have helped a bit here(as far as understanding goes)....ALL LEVELS...yes this means NFL too...for a better understanding YES it would help if you knew a lil about football...and to critique absolutely would help a lot more. I don't care if your name is JOE MONTANA jr...11 men take the field for this sport, one play at a time...to execute the majority of the plays, even if you're a decoy.. ..If you're in trouble are you looking for Jerry Rice or freakin Joe Blow?....you don't have to answer that....like I said...it helps when you've played the game, the position, and coached.... AS for someone being under a microscope, it's called being a hater... :o

BAD defense ?.......or we just don't want to give credit to a good offense, cause they have D2 behind their school name?...I caught the later half of the 4th Qtr(9 min), which looked like Lamar thought they had this game in the bag after 3 qtrs...If they played 3 strong qtrs, the only thing Lamar needs to worry about is finishing games!

This game will come down to execution, discipline, and coaching.  ::) As for a prediction...it will be clear skies, and beautiful day for a good ball game. Week in and week out teams line up against Katy to play the best game of their life...for some play makers, it takes them out of their best game...others, can't handle the pressure of playing "KATY".  THAT is the only difference between a dynasty and trying to become one....the mental preparation for this game will supersede any phase of a game these kids have been already playing for years. You want to count on ur play makers and hope the rest of the TEAM on the field can maintain their poise...it's just another game....focus....and we will execute, be disciplined, and our coaching will be right on!

[/quote] haven't tried looking for a fan board or know if one exists...Marshall is a small town... the NAIA.org website is usually pretty up to date.  Missouri Valley College(now #7) played the #3 Team and won this past weekend....they have a REALLY GOOD DEFENSE!...Last year was #1 in total yds, returned 8 starters from that defense this year.
