SETX 9U Beast are looking to fill a few spots on our returning team from last season. We will be holding private tryouts. Our mission is to provide opportunities and exposure while competing at the highest level in youth select baseball and instilling discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, honesty and integrity. Beast Baseball teaches their players to respect the game, work hard, and to play hard.
Beast Baseball focuses on consistent hard work and striving to become a better ballplayer. We believe in pushing your teammates to be better, picking them up when they are down, and always believing in yourself. Character is revealed in times of adversity and baseball provides that adversity. 8U Beast will be holding tryouts on Saturday, August 9th from 10:00 am to 12:00 p.m. at the OYBS fields (Mustang Field) located @ 2303 Eddleman Drive Orange, TX 77632 and on August 19th at the Beaumont Athletic Complex on College from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Please have your child wear baseball pants and a baseball hat.

Southeast Texas Beast Baseball is expanding the organization for the 2014-2015 select baseball season. Beast is adding an 8U select team to go along with the new 7U team and the previous 9U and 10U teams that were started last year. Beast Baseball was created by LCM High School Coach Steve Griffith. Coach Griff will not be coaching this team but will assist with some practices and help train the volunteer coaches. One thing that sets the Beast organization apart from others is that none of the organizers or coaches profit from any money raised. 100% of the funds collected will be spent on the kids.
The coaches for the 8U team will be Clay Richards, Ethan Johnson and Josh Venable. For any questions contact Clay Richards at (409) 779-4035 or [email protected]. To be eligible to play 8U during the 2014-2015 season the child must be 8 years of age or younger as of May 1, 2015.
The first tryout for the 8U team is scheduled for Saturday, August 9, 2014. Time and location to be announced soon.
