Ok back to football..... starting to have withdrawals.. ;D [/quote] Well...just like I said, I think Dayton brings back a good core of players and they always play extremely well defensively.  Enough to keep them in a game anyway.  Not sure how real this stat is (MaxPreps), but they averaged over 20 steals per game as team.  Last year they were well disciplined and coached and played hard buzzer to buzzer.  Don't see that changing this year.  Junior Etling should be the standout player. I just don't see "all those athletes" at Crosby.  They have a very good Soph (Godfrey), but just don't think she will be able to carry the load.  Coach Chancellor does bring big improvement on the coaching side, but again, just don't think its enough.  Give him some time to develop success at the lower levels and Crosby may start to contend.

Don't think its "High and Mighty" just "High Expectations".  Its nice having an athletic program where you expect to win as opposed to being surprised if you do.  Visualizing yourself as a winner gets you half way there...then sometimes reality smacks you back into place though LOL.

[/quote] Hey 82!...it was just as bad 50 yds from the action.  The main story here is BH did not put the ball on the ground or throw to the wrong color jerseys.  Despite some unraveling that led to costly penalties late, we looked much more disciplined and mistake free overall.  I think we got a little too conservative up by such a large margin and we started playing too soft in the secondary. From the basketball world, but I could see some of the Gold "Super Teams", with players from different states being a little leery of a rule like this in SB. To all coaches of nonscholastic basketball teams that participate in NCAA-certified events (meaning AAU "exposure" events) : BEGINNING FALL 2010 – WOMEN’S TEAMS MUST COMPLY WITH ADJOINING STATE RULE – In April 2010, legislation was adopted that would require women’s teams participating in an NCAA-certified event to meet the same residency restrictions that have applied to the men’s teams since 2005.  The effective date of the legislation is September 1, 2010.  In that regard, fall 2010 events will be required to apply the legislation when allowing teams to participate in those events.  This means that all teams participating in NCAA-certified fall events must be made up of individuals that reside either within the same state as the team’s official address or within a geographically adjoining state AND with not more than three prospects from adjoining states participating on any one team.
