EC secondary better be able to defend the pass to #8 and defend wildcat with RB #6 and QB #4. They have a good all around offense that keeps the defense guessing. QB is very good scrambler, run outside the pocket and dump it down field. What little film I watched, EC better have a good defensive game plan. If it's raining, it will probably help EC defend the pass. This game could go either way in my opinion.

Does K-Dan have a place to seat and eat? I've never been and people at work talking about you may have to take out your order.

You could be correct if they go off the spread. I don't see EC beating OF by 30, but I didn't think Kirbyville would beat EC by 30 either. I'm hoping EC young members will catch up and the team will peak just at the right time. This means you think EC will beat Orangefield and Kirby(Loss to Ana by 14) will beat OF by more than 14? I think it surprised EC too!!!! I like close district games, I think it prepares the teams for the playoffs. I also like to play teams that passes pretty good, it helps prepare for playoffs. I think playing HF this year help our secondary even though we lost.

Next big game will be Oct. 27 -@Kirbyville vs Orangefield*, 7:30pm. Then Nov2 - EC vs @Orangefield*, 7:30pm. Only time will tell the truth!!! Just realized Nov 2 is a Thursday.

Well, it might not have been pretty, but EC pulls the rabbit out of the hat!!!! EC keep trying to give the lead away with penalties and turn overs. Good win EC!!! Anahuac has tons of talent and if they all pull together, they will be a tough team to beat in the playoffs. I don't know how many passes Anahuac had, but it wouldn't surprise me if they had more passes than runs. Great game Anahuac and good luck with rest of the season as long as you're not playing EC!!! LOL

I wasn't there, but looks like Orangefield made some good adjustments second half. Better not sleep on the Horns this year, especially if they correct their turnovers!!!

Out of the country and just thought the score was backwards but I guess not. Congratulations Kirbyvillle. I’m not sure what happened but EC needs to figure it out!!!! All the talk about coaches needs to look at past history and give them a break. Put your crystal ball up.

I know it's the 4th Q but giving up 22 points in 1 quarter worries me. I would like to see a little more depth in defense.

Woodville will be tough this year. Especially if they can mix up the run and pass when they get to the playoffs. Good luck!!!!

Freshman QB had 2-3 good down field passes on the mark, that gave me some confidence in him. He had a good game that will improve in time. I think we have 2-3 freshman starting on this team so as they get experience it will help. EC had two fumbles and a blocked punt and stayed within 2 scores of a good 4A team. EC has some young inexperienced players that will improve with time so they should be able to compete for 1st in District. HF QB was good and had a couple of good receivers that can score fast!!!! Good luck HF with the rest of the season!!!

I would like to see this game but it's just to far. I think Woodville will make it a good game if they minimize their mistakes.
