Vidor wins.

I heard the Vidor coach say on TV that if they win Friday they will have to go to Jasper to play again at 2pm Sat.

PNG vs. Central - Apr. 29 The varsity baseball game against Central on Friday, April 29 has been moved to 4:30PM. The game was originally scheduled for 7:00PM. The location is the same (at Central).

Ozen at Nederland Friday - 7pm or 3pm?

I am not 100% sure but I think the Nederland/Ozen game will be played on Friday April 22 not Thursday since Nederland has school on Friday.  Schools can't play 2 games in one week but a game after school on the last day of the week is not considered to be in that week.  Nederland is having school this Friday to make up for a unscheduled day off in February.  Can anyone confirm this?

Anderson pitched a 2-hitter against Vidor in the first meeting this season.  Haglar (sp?) also pitched well in a 2-0 game.  Important game - should be a good one!

Livingston beat PNG twice this year.  PNG beat Vidor the one time they played.  PNG split with Lumberton.  I am not sure how the other teams did against each other.

Stone pitched I think 4 or 5 innings and then Nelson finished the game.

So did this game only last 3 innings (or 2 1/2 innings)?  I thought you had to go to 4 innings before you called it a game with a 15 point spread.

True.  It seems the bats got cold when district started.  We lost 4 district games - each one by one run (2 in extra innings).  I am hoping that when (not if) we get into the playoffs we will be peaking again.

Hey Half, not sure what you are talking about.  The new PNG varsity coach was not brought up from "Jr. High".  He was the Asst. Varsity coach last year plus was the Varsity coach at Lumberton a few years back.

If I had to put money on this game I would have to go with Nederland but it is also hard to pick against Vidor if Hunter Hagler is pitching.

For 20-4A  - Everyone on the Nederland Baseball Team.

PNG wins 16-0 in 5 innings.  Stone strikes out 11 in 4 innings and hits a home run.  Nelson strikes out 3 in the 5th inning.  PNG led 13-0 after one inning.  A Central player was hit by the pitcher (only player to reach) but thrown out at 2nd.
