PNG has school today.

Thanks for the correction.  I guess I just assume that PNG didn't have school today because I knew NISD didn't (I have family members that teach over there).

The Indians must be getting a little nervous. I go to work and what do I see this morning the Indians having a morning practice until 8:25 A.M. So good 2 hours. Guess the school let the boys miss 1st period. 

 

No one thought the DOGS were going to be contenders. I guess they underestimated the HEART of the fight in these DOGS. So here we go a crazy week ending in possible District Title in play.

 

Still say DOGS win in a close one 24-21.

The student don't have school today so they are not missing any periods.

Crosby is playing #5 Dayton, not #8 Dayton.

Just wondering why you made this comment.  Anything can happen in an one game playoff (see Dayton vs Nederland - good thing it wasn't an one game playoff).  PNG has many good pitchers and I would think a three-game series would be to their benefit.

To my way of thinking, once everyone starts responding to a particular thread, that thread doesn't belong to only its creator but to the world.  We lost some great comments (mostly from bamakid) when it was deleted.

It seem to have disappeared a couple of days ago.  Or was I just seeing things that were never there?

This is what the PNG-ISD site is saying:

JV will play at home at 4:30pm.
Varsity will play at home at 7:00pm.
Sophomores will play at home at 5:00pm on Wednesday, March 20.

Just as the Heisman Trophy is for the best college player and not the best prospect  for pro, the Willie Ray Smith Awards are for the best high school players and not who got the most or best college offers.

Thanks.  At least I was right about it being Tony.  I know he did kick with only a sock in high school.  Also Tony Franklin kicked barefooted even in the NFL.

Does anyone remember who was the kicker for Kountze in 1959 or so.  Our coach told us that he did everything on their team and probably even drove the bus.  I was thinking his name was Tony Franklin but a internet research said Franklin played for Arlington Height.  Maybe it was Tony something else.

I agree.  The game will probably be over by the end of the 4th quarter unless there is a tie at that time.  JK  I guess you meant 2nd or 3rd quarter.  And biaplayer I will be with you supporting our Indians.
