I just got a few little comments on this. First congrads to all in the list. I thought a couple names were in the "wrong spot" but hey lets not dampen the feelings of those that are there. I must meantion though.... the leading tackler on BH, Nick Mercantel, didnt even make the list. Great job this year Nick. Congrads to all of you BH boys. Andrew Little! .. my #34... Every game this year you gave everything you had on friday nights and you had an extrodinary season son. You made me very proud this year. Now go throw that discus to state this year!!!!!!

I'm speachless at this outcome. I dont even want to talk about it after all. Goodnight.

If GP wins then BH needs FB to beat Smiley week 10 AND BH would have to beat GP. Should be an exciting 2 weeks as long as BH dont let King sneak up on them.
-
BH in a must win sitiation..... The GP/Smiley game is a big one. I'm pretty anxious to see what senerio there'll be for week 10 assuming BH takes care of business Friday.
-
Very good outing for the Eagles and wish you guys the best of luck for the rest of the season.
A little good luck is what BH needs for a change. A little bad luck has been there for sho. Maybe Smiley will somehow beat Galena Park, BH beats King, then final week would be a playoff game for GP/BH I think. ;D If GP beats Smiley then BH would need Forrest Brook to beat Smiley in week 10 AND BH would have to beat GP. Thats a tougher scenerio I think. All BH can do is take care of their end and hope that things work out on the other end. GOOD LUCK BH!

Good game Eagles..... Wish Smiley hadnt scored that last TD of theirs ;D

That one Freshman starter and Sexton are the only bright spots on defense. That Freshman (don't know his name) was pretty darn good and made some great plays. 2 does not make a defense, hense 1000 yards of offense in one night. Hard to watch after the past several years of really good defenses.
Sorry dude, there's a few others you forgot to mention. Loiser, Merchantel, playing some hard hit football. Our LBs aren't doing as well this year. Guess our D-line last year helped them shine a little more than we thought.

I'm have to disagree on the "only bright spots" thing. CB Dustin Losure and DT/LB Nick Mercketel are having great years.

Best of luck to you and your son on the visit to Nicholls State today. He's gotta be playing on Saturdays next year....way too much talent there.
Surely somewhere.... Coach up there told Drew he needs a RB that can run hard and that is not affraid to block........ If the shoe fits!

GP
Crosby
Smiley
Barbers Hill
Heartbreaker tonight at the Hill....great game to watch. Unfortunatley, BH on the wrong end of the score.
Tackling practice tomorrow morning @ sunrise for the Hill. Great offense from several Eagles..Cormona, C. Smith, Jay Burditt....
34sDAD....if you are out there....well, 34 is a stud ! Can I pick him up on my fantasy team ? I'm a baseball Dad....does he play baseball ? He is the hitter not the hit E . ;D Seriously, really enjoyed watching how Mr. Little plays the game. Very, very impressed.....talented young man.
Let's beat GP and run the table and BH is back in it.
Its gonna be a tough uphill battle to get back in it. But it is possible. I know we all are totally deflated after that one, but hey... Smiley really aint no chumps are they?
One of the BEST games I've ever seen personnaly. Eagle07... I truley appreciate your commonts on Andrew. He has really runs hard and brings it to the defense .... I am so very very proud of his play this year. Never quits. I only hope that I get to continue watching him play at the next level. We are leaving this morning to Nicholls State for a visit, hopefully something positive will come of it. And no he doesnt play baseball.. played 1 year majors and 2 years of pony in baytown. Then we moved here his freshman year. He's a very good discus thrower on the track team and has a state meet appearance and championshhip on his mind for this year as well..... BH boys! I know that none of us can be as disappointed as you all are after that one. Keep your heads up and keep working hard like you always do. We are so proud of all of you and the the way you played last night.

Sorry to say but I cant make it tonight due to work..... I'll be sulking all night. Please give updates as often as possible. I have a contact there too. Go BH! ... Run hard #34 . But most of all .... WIN!

BH should bounce back well after last weekends loss to the talented Crosby team. Nothing to be ashamed of, just get back to work and take care of business.

I'm gonna duck in real quick. I really hate to hear that about Jarvis Moore. My son Andrew played with him, Mahan, OT, and the rest of those boys for Lee in junior high and they were all always at our house. We moved to BH and kind of lost contact with them. Jarvis is one of those special football players that it just came natural to him. He never played contact football until 7th grade, but looked like he was born running with a pigskin under his arm. I assume he's done for the year. Well hopefully enough has been seen that he'll get a chance to play at the next level.

Well Dayton won last night......BH fans can at least talk about Dayton again... :-*
Ride Dayton, they will win games in 22-4A......
These BH players will win games too. No need to talk about Dayton. We'll just stay behind our boys... thanks. This was one game and theres 5 more to go. Crosby is a good team and when youre good you dont have to beat your own chest, others will acknowledge it. For a small school, these BH kids can play. As lopsided as the final score was, it was a very very good close game for 2.5 quarters. But Crosby was bigger and stronger and wore BH down. Anyway...... good game, good luck, and dont talk too much cr*p. You never know when you may have to take some. It wont be from me, but you as you know there are some outspoken BH fans.

This is definitly going to be a good one. BH offense is clicking very well right now. I'm not making any predictions but I think the winner will be the team that makes little or zero mistakes. From an ofensive standpoint I think if BH can control the ball (no turnoves, grinding out #34, establishing long drives for scores) , they will have a great chance of taking ithis one. BH has come miles from week 0. Hope Crosby is looking at BH as an easy win. BH defense has gone though a few changes in the past few weeks but they will bring the hats, and thats for sure. If I had to predict?..... BH 28 Crosby 20

BH will be ready for this one..... The extra week off was beneficial I think to heal some illness and a few injuries. The east houston schools have all gone to the metal detectors i think. If the intensity and rhythem from the Bellville game is resumed, BH should win this one. BUT... don't you ever, never ever, look past a team because you think they are no good! They will jump on you before you know what happened. For the next 7 weeks, the district championship is yours and everyone else wants it. Play every down like the season and the playoffs depend on it and rest when its over. GO BH!!
-
I like the way the offense came together last week vs. Bellville. Still some avoidable mistakes made but overall looking really good compared to 3 weeks ago. The Defense is getting better and should keep FB in check for the most part. Wish it was tomorrow. But BH has a few injuries that the bye week provide time to heal.
-
Great job BH! started the game down 14-0 then got the engines running. Bellville RB #32 was a tough one but yall dug in on Defense and did a great job causing some turnovers and holding your ground. Offensivly... starting to see what we knew was there all along I think. 39 unanswered points to win it 45-21 ... all I can say is great game! Congrads

From what I've seen at practice this week... alot of hard work going on over there. More intensity. Hoping for good results this week. Dont know anything about this years Bellville team. Probably llike last year..... not so big, but alot of speed.
