We played a very good first half and held on for a squeaker win. Two turn-overs in the red zone and some untimely penalties really hurt. We also need to work on our conditioning. The heat caused several of our workhorses (garza' date=' dejohn, hussey) to go down in the 4th.

let me clear this up a little, hussey didnt go down from a cramp he twisted his ankle a bit. but dejohn and garza cramped up in the third quarter.

No - New Caney is awful. The fact that it was close doesn't really WOW me.
I do admit the game was too close but i still have no doubts that we will step up to the plate and take the win over bridge city.

I believe that Lumberton's win over New Caney is a positive step in the right direction. The Lumberton vs. Bridge City game is definitely going to be a good one. I believe Lumberton will win! This should be the game of the week. :!:

Lumberton is not the strongest team in the world either. I say the game will be over by Half time. Lumberton cant keep up with NC speed and will get beat deep by the QB
Our passing and running game sure seemed to work on ya'll.

Dude, you MUST get real. In a game sitation Lumberton won't come close to beating anyone. Lumberton's first team is just BAD.....no other way to describe them. Even with BH down this year, had that been a game Lumberton would have never scored and would have been beatin by at least 30. The only time lumberton moved the ball was with the 2nd teams in the game........geez!
