  1. What to expect when you pick up our football preview on Sunday: [Hidden Content]
  2. Unrelated, but an important change from last year: If you buy this Sunday's Beaumont Enterprise, you WILL find a copy of our football preview inside. Last year, it was subscriber only.
  3. Well, that's too bad that's been your experience. The four football preview covers I've been a part of have been: - Devwah Whaley - West Orange-Stark football - Sideline contributors (Ozen coach's wife, Vidor trainer, Bridge City cheerleader) - Beaumont United
  4. We've got six feature-length stories in the preview section. All six include minority schools and two are dedicated solely to Beaumont United. Always fighting a losing battle, it seems.
  5. This is our cover for our preview section, which comes out next Sunday.
  6. Tentative plan is to be at the Butch for St Pius vs. BU. But that's very tentative for a number of reasons...
  7. [Hidden Content] The only three SETX teams I included were Newton (No. 1), West Orange-Stark (No.2) and Woodville (No. 10)
  8. Well, I encourage you to at least read the Bmt United and Silsbee stories. Think you'll like the focus we put into Bmt United for our football preview section.
  9. Appreciate it. Doing one for the Bmt United district that will come out two weeks from today as well.
  10. Here's the District 12-5A-II preview I put together for the Houston Chronicle. [Hidden Content]
  11. I've got: 1. Crosby 2. Nederland 3. PN-G 4. Barbers Hill 5. Vidor 6. Dayton 7. Santa Fe 8. Baytown Lee Two most confident picks are Crosby and Baytown Lee. Think Nederland PN-G are capable of winning district and Vidor capable of making the playoffs.
  12. Yeah, I think the top three will be close. I've got: 1. Crosby 2. Nederland 3. PN-G
  13. Yep, I think this is true. For what it's worth, I don't have PN-G winning the district or finishing runner up.
