Caleb Malveaux BIG NED #49

Recommended Posts

I would like to congratulate Caleb and share some family news on his behalf. Simply because if you truly know Caleb he is a very quiet and humble kid. He has begun to receive recruitment letters as well as e-mails of interest from various schools. Such as Georgia Tech, Arizona, SMU, TCU, Texas A&M(tamu.scout.com) and last but not least Lamar. Caleb was injured Friday night against Vidor. He is recovering well and was able to put some pressure on it today as he continues to get treatment on it. Thanks to all who care and those who have checked on him(friends and coaches). Thanks on behalf of the Malveaux's and may god bless you all. Sincerely Caleb's Proud Dad.

good to hear he's recovering well. i saw the block you are speaking of and was very disappointed that it occured. though it was illegal i can only hope it was not malicious. i recieved a similar hit my senior year and it put me out for 3 games. i am big on staying high on your block. i cant't stand to see someone get taken down low. my teeth grit everytime i see it because i remember what it felt like. hope he recovers 100% and continues on to Saturday afternoon games in the future. no doubt the young man is a very talented ball player.

[/quote]If you could see it on film you will see the frustrations were building the plays prior to the block. Emotions are a hard thing to control.

Great update. Anyone who has ever played in Vidor knows that there will always be that play that makes you say What the Hell ?? Where did that cheap shot come from.

There are cheap shots in every game man. Don't be making this about Vidor.

The Vidor cheap shots are like non other I didn't experiance these type in college. Plus this is a era now where sportsmanship is at a all time high. You see tons of players helping the other team up and laughing after a play is over with. There is no need for some of the things I saw from VIDOR Friday night. Since you took it personal.

Hey you need a tampon man? Don't be so sensitive. Emotions run high in football games. Especially games as important as the Vidor Nederland games last weekend. Its not gonna be the girl scouts selling cookies man.  ::)

like what? other than the chop block. what elses? don't tell me Ned didn't get away with some stuff. it was and intense game amongst teenagers and sometimes emotions overcome good judgement. quit making it out like Vidor had a master plan to put someone out of the game.

Enough of the blaming on who did what to who. This thread was started by a players dad who wanted to thank those who asked about his injury and to toot his horn for his son. Lets get back to the real thread !!!!!!!!!

    • What the writer stated wrt crossover votes in the primary/runoff: "Covey and his supporters Paxton and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick said Phelan only won because Democrats crossed over to vote in the Republican Primary for him. Paxton said Covey’s campaign identified “at least” 1,442 Democrats who voted early in Jefferson County in the primary runoff. Texas does not have party registration, but a voter’s primary voting history is public. The Covey campaign has not released its methodology behind its claim, but  This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up  by The Texan news website found that 9% of Republican voters in the March District 21 primary had voted in one of the previous four Democratic primaries. However, only 5% of that group had voted in all four previous Democratic primaries. What Phelan’s opponents did not mention is historically Democratic Jefferson County is undergoing a political transition towards the Republican party — the county judge switched his affiliation to the GOP in 2017 — so many residents have a mixed primary voting history. And Phelan’s allies in the House dismissed the idea that liberals swung the election. "I knocked on doors, hundreds and hundreds of doors, made calls for Dade,” Republican Rep. Jeff Leach, R-Plano, said on Mark Davis’ radio program Wednesday. “I did not speak to a single Democrat down here in HD21. Not a single one." "
