Top 3 only have to stay focused and playoffs are theirs. Orangefield looks like they will sweep district and HJ and Silsbee fiight for 2nd and 3rd. Rest of district have ups and downs, which doesn't let them play consistent. Each one has moments were they can play with anyone.

Don't see that happening at all, but I do see HJ winning 2nd out right!!!  They have a great group of girls that are playing very well right now!!!  Orangefield just happens to be getting better and better every game they play!!!  ;)

I am sorry and I do apologize for my post.  I just now see that it was a volleyball topic and I mistakenly thought it was football.  According to Obama, I shot and then aimed.  Again, I apologize. :)

When is the last time Bridge City didn't make it to the playoffs in volleyball?

I believe it was 2008. BC and OF were both 5-5 in district and OF won the play-in game.

That is correct!  In fact, that team was somewhat similar to this year's team---young/inexperienced.  That year, the team was full of sophomores.  This year, they lack varsity experience.  I don't, however, count them out of the fight for the playoffs.  They have shown improvement & are getting familiar with the fact that losing is not acceptable....Coach Matthews HATES to lose & will do anything in her power to instill that competitiveness spirit in her players.  Good Luck, Lady Cards!  Just know that alot can happen in the next 4 games.....
