With Livingstons qb out I gotta go Silsbee.  I think they get it 28-14.  They seem pretty tough and could give WOS a run for the district title.

I say Silsbee by 10.

Well i was being cool and just simply making a pick, but the fact of the matter is that Livingston won't schedule us because We would smash y'all like we did back in the 90's.  I just think Silsbee is a better team than Livingston.  You can believe Coach Barbay will have the boys ready for LCM

I thi k over the past 2 games, Silsbee's QB Reed has come into his own. He is about 6'3 200lbs and can really throw the ball. If Silsbee's WR's can make some catches, I think Silsbee could go very deep this season.

Nothing is ever for sure when you put that many High School kids in one spot, but I am confident that the Trojans can beat LCM on friday.

What people seem to forget is that we have played a strong preseason schedule to prepare our team. I look for us to open up our play book this Friday and begin to be ready for district. Silsbee is a good team as they have proven also with a strong preseason schedule, they seem to have the same thing in mind as Livingston, and that is to be ready for district. Looking forward to a good game Friday with no injuries for either team.

Bull Spit! The reason ya'll don't schedule Coldspring is because your coach knows he would get spanked and it would make him look bad.  Barbay practically begged Rowe to play a pre-district game, so that we would not have to travel 2 plus hours every week to find a team that is not scared to play us.  Rowe was chicken and you know it.  Call it what you want.  We asked, ya'll refused!

[/quote]Well I guess you will just have to cross over the river sit down with Rowe and tell him that, but as for me I could care less about why you are so jealous of Rowe. I personally would get nothing out of playing a small 3A team and nothing to brag about beating a small school. Don't take it so personal, there's more to life than football. I would like to see Silsbee get Spearman to the outside of the tackles and let him work. I'm still thinking he can have a 1000yd season and Reed a 3000yd passing season. They have the weapons!

Reed has already amassed 1,000 total yards thru the first 3 games (370 rushing, 700 passing, 1070 total). That puts him on pace for regular season totals of 1200 rushing, 2300 passing, 3500 total offense. Then you have the playoffs.

I don't think he gets 1000 yards rushing, but I do think he will pass for more than 2500 in the regular season.

Great thing, he is only a junior!!

I think by middle of district play Spearman will be churning out some very good rushing games.
