[/quote]From what i was told by an Alum from there that their football program isnt up to its usual Cleveland standards. Honestly IMO they havent been the same ball club since they had that QB get injured couple years ago. Yeah they may have made the playoffs last year (Liberty should have been there) but their D gives up alot of points. we'll see if they have gotten better.


Im picking Kville to win this one, but if karma decides to rear its ugly head upon kvillecats & kvillecatz it wouldnt surprise me if Cleveland pulls it out.  ;)

[/quote]A Cleveland defense that started 8 sophomores, who r all back. The defense will be the heart and sole of this team. In their two scrimmages the 1st team defense gave up only three first downs, two of them because of penalties. they did not allow a td. Their d-line will be one of the best in 3A.

I dont think Kirbyville will have any problems with Cleveland, They start off every year thinking they are going to be a lot better than they are.

Well one thing is for sure, we will find out Thursday night. our defense has played great so far this year. Have they been tested, HJ didn't, Diboll looked to have everything to make a great scrimmage, but that didn't work out for them. Will Cleveland beat Kirbyville and Hold them to 7points? I don't know, I have not seen Kirbyville in a few years. I'm ready to see Cleveland go 4 quarters and Kirbyville should be a great game. I do know that our O line needs to show up, only returning two, both Juniors. They have improved over the last few weeks, but still have work to do.

I sure thought this board would be bigger by now!!!!! I am pulling for Cleveland their D is solid. On the offensive side of the ball, Taylor as a strong arm and the speed to back him up if the line doesnt help buy him some time in the backfield.. Just a couple days away, this should be a good game
