Probably not.  Nederland plays by the rules and those that do that have a hard time getting to Austin.  Do you think they ought to consider establishing a full time recruiter?

Then when you mentioned that you would NOT see Nederland in Austin, you also meant to include Ozen and Central as well? You have never heard me say or imply that Central and Ozen did not play by the rules.  My reference(which I thought was fairly obvious) was to Yates and Prime Prep.

[/quote]That's what I like to hear! Good ole trash talking!! BD3 sings a different tune, but I believe he is not showing all of Ozen's cards, and he wants the young team inspired. That's exactly what I did with Nederland's team last year. They were young and out to prove they were as good as all the seniors who graduated the year before. I agree that it will be a 3 team race, and any of them could bring home the district/and or regional trophy.

Would be great to see two 20-4A teams battling it out in Katy. Was it LaMarque (2 yeaes ago) who lost to Galveston Ball in BOTH district games, then beat Ball in the Reg Final?

Why would I care about Yates?  The team I follow is unlikely to even go 500 in district with that weak pre district schedule and lack of knowledge of sport specific training.

Would someone please remind Dove that lowly HJ beat Kingwood Park last year.  I think that was one year after Kingwood Park beat Ozen in the playoffs.

So are u saying Yates is not as good as advertised? For Yates to be a national power house, it's not good for them to have ozen players blowing by them. That should be a good sign for silsbee and hj.

[/quote] Not sure if I'm answering your question but:*team first* was saying how Yates' 6'2" guards will post against Ozen's guards. I was just saying how funny he would say this, when only an hour earlier, one of those Ozen guards blew by one of their 6'7" players in their workouts.
Now team wise, Yates is just too big and fast for HJ. Yates will match Silsbee's athleticism, speed, and quickness. But Yates will have a fresh five of potential starters to rest the starters AND their length will be too much for 3-A  to handle. It would be like a mid level university playing against high school kids. There are a couple of advantages for Silsbee......
