Hey guys does anyone know if a.m.560 klvi will ever do the Friday night high school smack attack it was the best thing going after the games were over.

I agree it was fun listening in. You got more local coverage and discussion. As big as football is here in the Golden Triangle you would think one of the radio stations would capitalize off of it. Hard to say about selling ad space though. Why did they stop doing it in the first place ?

I remember da smack attack & the Hudson/Harrington houston radio broadcast on later after the fri.night clashes=Rusty Stomp awards for all the teams that got took to the woodshed ;D ;D

That was a great show!  Loved listening to it on a drive home from an away game.

Not going to happen at KLVI. Those two tried giving it a go last year on KSET 1300 AM, but failed miserably, didn't last but 3 weeks.

As far as it being the "best thing going", that's debatable. I didn't care for it. Too much fluff and stupidity, not enough scores and "real" talk about the games.

You guys do know we have a scoreboard show here on the site every Friday night after the games. The OT Scoreboard Show airs at 10:30pm after the games.

I have heard it online, but sure would like to hear it over the radio waves while driving.  The best part was the callers talking trash.
