Depending on JV game at WB, i'LL try and make this one. Already know what side I'm sitting on
I'm sure Central will be pleased.
??? And what makes you think I wasn't referring to HJ?

I think we enought length to disrupt Prudhomme (sp) on the block and in the perimeter.  I worry if we can close out fast enough on shooters like Bosha.  Thus far, we have been able to do that.  If we can come out and set the tone early in the game and not let H-J's press bother us, we'll be ok.  I think this team will have to match up with us on defense.  In that case, I like our chances.

If you are referring to matching up man to man, I beg to differ.  I am of the opinion that if you are not shooting a decent percentage from the perimeter, it might not be as easy as you think.  Furthermore, I dont think you have anyone on the perimeter to stop Prudhomme from getting a shot off unless there is a 6'3" guard that I dont know about.
We have some athletic kids that may give him trouble.  I've seen him play before and I Know Prudhomme is a beast.  At the same time, who will check Smith?  How will keep our bigs from having their way down low?  Also, what will H-J do if we are able to figure out your pressing defense?
That may work.  Actually, that's a good idea.  Our players have not proven yet that they can CONSISTANTLY hit the outside J.  We can hit them, but i'm not sure about consistance.  This will show me a lot about my team.

Two other starters are 1/2 inch shorter and 1/2 taller than Prudhomme and sub center is 6'6"

Persohn- 6'3"
Carr- 6'8"
Johnson- 6'3"
Bosha- 6'4"
Sorry- Johnson is not 6"3 and since he is a Central transfer, there is not much sense in telling them that
His fro puts him at 6'3". I see him everyday, I'm pretty sure I would know. Just saying.  ;)

    • Heading into the summer and before two a days get goingā€¦ what are some concerns or positives about your team heading into next season? Iā€™d like to hear from some H-F people because according to some they are the district favorites heading into the season. Iā€™m just trying to pass some time at least until we get our DCTF magazines lol For Bellville my concern is filling some holes on defenseā€¦ specifically at LB,S, and DTā€¦ bright spots ? Basically the entire offensive line returns that paved the way for 3 RBs to rush for more than 1600 yards a Ā on the season (2 of those RBs will return as well). With all that said Bellville should still be a region favorite this upcoming season.
    • Thatā€™s not a choice, itā€™s the same thing and equally dangerous.Ā  Ā  Iā€™ve literally heard (with my own listening ears) the R County Chairman boast in a speech that ā€œthe only time Iā€™ve ever voted for a Democrat was when I voted for Hillary in the Democrat primary! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!ā€ Youā€™ll never guess who is tweeting all over the place about how we need closed primaries this week.Ā  Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Ā Escalation of force. Ā These are concepts that you completely understand and teach. Ā Whatever we do today, weā€™ll pay for tomorrow. Impeach a President over something stupid? Theyā€™ll impeach yours twice. Ā Promise to lock up your political rival if you get elected? You canā€™t cry over somebody else doing it to youā€¦ even if you were just blowing a little smoke for the morons. Ā  The old days of ā€œdonā€™t throw rocks if you live in glass housesā€ has now become ā€œIā€™m pretty sure Iā€™ve got more rocks than they do.ā€ The frightening thing is that Ds only do it to Rs. Rs do it to Ds and other Rs alike without hesitation. Ā
    • Definitely does NOT sound like a fit for PN-G.
    • No offense, but both sides do it. Ā The Rs in Texas want to do away with decades of precedent and demand that Dems are no longer given chair positions on any committees in the Tx House. It sounds reasonable enough, until you arrive at a point when the Ds enjoy a single seat majority in the house, select the most leftist speaker of all times, and the refuse to give Rs any say in the legislative process by refusing to give them any committee chairs. Ā  Ā  Experience has shown me that any time a party seeks to consolidate power in a legislative body, it backfires.Ā  Ā  What I donā€™t like is a world where we cheer for Manchin for doing his own thing, but also re-elect guys like Paxton and Patrick when they make threats to R Legislators if they donā€™t do exactly what the Radical Right demands. Our Rep here in Hardin County lost his spot for voting against private school vouchers-his wife is a teacher. He also voted his conscience on the Paxton impeachment. Ā It cost him his seatā€¦. Not because of the will of the voters in his district, but because if millions of outside dollars pumped into the race from outside the district and even an endorsement of his unknown challenger by Donald Trump himself.Ā  Ā  Why do people like you applaud Manchin for being his own man and then vote against Phelan for doing the same thing?
