I think Kirbyville is putting the pieces together and getting their swagger back. This Jasper Bulldog fan thinks they pull out the next 2. If they can do that, they can be proud considering how the year started. And once the playoffs start, it's a new season. It's not how you start, but how you finish.

Jasper beat center ( had to come from behind to do it!!)
diboll beat center ( in ot )
Jasper beat kville

What does all this mean?  Probably nothing

But I'm picking diboll cause kville is a bunch of thugs...lol  ;D
Such class Tdaddy ... oh never mind, forgot who was posting .... proves my point ...
If the behavior of the adults near the K'ville locker (taunting the players as they were walking off the field) is any indicator ... I can now understand the behavior of the Jasper players on the field ... can see why the players from Jasper do what they do ... prove is in the film ... watched the highlights from KJAS ... at least three times you can see hits after the play is over ... cheap shots ... And don't say I'm whining ... if you read my post after Jasper game ... made no excuses .. Jasper won ... but beating your chest ... man ... At least we are playing a team with some class this week.

I picked Jasper over Kirbyville last week not out of ill will, but I thought Jasper was playing a little better ball. Kirbyville surprised me at making it closer than I thought it would be. I've not seen them since the second week of the season. That says to me that Kirbyville is finding their game at the right time of the year. They should continue to play hard each week with the playoffs in their sight. Don't pay attention to people like me that might have had some doubt and bring everything you got. I think you have a real good chance to win out the rest of the regular season and then everyone is 0-0 in the playoffs. Kirbyville team character is not quitting. Play hard and take it to Diboll. Go Kats! ;)

Why so much hate for My Bulldogs I was not going to post cause the game is over and done but come on man K-Ville you lost it's over you guys played a great great game and I belive will make the playoffs and I was at the game I love the play of the O-Line and when I played my O-Line coach was your last coach Coach A. and you no who im talking about he would tell us to bust them in the nose and say your sorry after the game this is football not softball im glad Jasper showed some heart cause last year we showed no heart and K-ville work us good last year and im not saying to be dirty put dont let a team push you around. Jasper the past few years has been up and down more down than up so lets good dogs do you cause at the end of the day it's all about your teammates cause on that filed thats all you got.And K-ville fans dont take this the wrong way and get mad cause trust me I will be hopeing you make the playoff as well as newton cause you are east texas and I have love when come to the east texas lets all make some noise in the PLAYOFFS!!!!!

Funny that y'all are playing diboll tomorrow and still whining about losing to Jasper
No the funny thing truly is Jasper seriously thought they could get revenge on the scorching we gave them last season but could only beat Kirbyville by 2 with a little zebra help.

    • We'll see. I don't trust us.
    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
