A pretty lengthy preview of the 19 and 20-4A action this week.
Taking a look at the standings, they are identical in both districts.
1 team at 3 and 0
3 teams at 2 and 1
3 teams at 1 and 2 and then 2 teams at 0 and 3.

[/quote]It will be from the Friendswood, LaMarque district.  That district will likely put two teams into the quarter finals.  However, if the Bulldog defense keeps on barking, a win in round three probably puts the Bulldogs into the quarterfinals.
Last year it was in that round that Dayton got beat by LaMarque and PN-G lost to Manvel.

Still not giving Vidor any respect huh. How much is it gonna take for you to realize that Vidor will make the playoffs and probably in second place? I guess we'll just see what you have to say after week 10.  8)

Don't feel bad we beat Ned and yall took it to Livingson and we are at #3. The trick to this is that it is not a Current ranking! This is rankings for how far he thinks you will get in the playoffs which is no way to rank teams IMO. Teams should be ranked for their strengh not ranked higher because they have an easier road in the playoffs! Good Lord ::) For any person with sense the top three would be.

I agree with everything you said. Not sure how you can rank teams  when you don't know who is gonna be in the playoffs. Guess he has a crystal ball. Can I borrow?

[/quote]The last team playing has the best season.  When Crosby beat Dayton, they ended up watching Dayton play two more playoff games.  Who had the better season?  Just checking out the brackets, it looks like BH will square off against Brenham in round 2.  Nederland looks like it will be in the Pearland Dawson side of the bracket, they will play in round 3.  BH and Nederland will be underdogs in both those games (not saying they can't win, but they will be underdogs).  If Livingston doesn't stumble again, they will be the 1st seed in division II, they will be favored going into round three where they will play Manvel, who will probably end up getting beat by Dawson.  24-4A had all four of their teams playing in the regional round, the route through Houston will go through that district.

Not that this happened but if Dayton plays Tarkington in Round 1 and Crosby plays Brenham and loses. that doesn't mean that Dayton had the best season just the easier road. The head to head between Dayton and Crosby decided who the better team was.

It is simple. He expects Livingston to beat his Broncos. If he ranked them like they should be: BH, Ned, LV... that would mean his Broncos would lose to the 3rd ranked team in the 1st round. It looks more impressive to have them losing to 1st ranked team. Imagine that!

[/quote]If you were to rank the teams in division I and division II, Livingston would be the #1 seed in division II (of course they have to play the remainder of the teams).
