Nah I ment the 2000/2003/2007/2008 Katy Tigers. BTW did you read the end of that story you know the part where it said Katy had been to three straight state championship games.

In all seriousness tho Katy unlike some other perennial powerhouses typically does not have superstars. They are team of talented kids that executes better than almost any other high school. When was the last time you heard that a player from Katy was a top 150 or 5 star recruit?

This year there is not even one player from the tigers in the rivals top 100 players from Texas. Euless Trinity has 4.

Your gonna have that everywhere. I know i am one of them talking trash but that's just how some people post. They are trash talkers. I admit i have done it before but its not what i'm all about. I am about stats and friendly chatter as well. I just like to get the other trash talkers worked up and see them disappear when they can't eat there crow.

Thats all good.  I always like my crow smoked with a side of footinmouth.  It always taste better that way.  ;D  Vidor does have a pretty good team this year.  Watched the Nederland game and the defense is good.  The Bolinger kid that got hurt early looked real shifty and fast.  Would have liked to see him for the rest of the game.  That QB # 16 you guys have was fast also. He was  killing us aroung the outside.  Even when it looked like we had him he got the corner.  He also mad some good passes in the game.  You guys almost got us.  I just hope we can contain the Lions and there speedy attack.  Good Luck

Ozen has way too much speed for Vidor .  Ozen moves to 3-0 ! Vidor gets a few gimme points late in the 4th QTR.

Reading some of these posts discourages me. The whole race and steriotype mess is too much. Grow up guys. On another note.....I am VERY close with the Ozen FB team and the "lack of discipline" and "not as good coaching" comments couldn't be farther from the truth. Ozen is VERY well coached. Coach Nelson has and is doing an outstanding job of building character in these young men and of turning the program around. Unlike many of you, they are NOT taking ANY team lightly and their focus and goals are higher than ever. Keep watching these 2011 Panthers. A new thing's brewing in the Pear Orchard. BTW Vidor is much respected by the Panthers and there won't be a letdown because of complacency on Ozen's part. Look for a well played, hard hitting, disciplined football game saturday night. #Thatisall ;)
