They all played well. Weisbrod stood out.

Heard Kingwood had a 6'6, 6'6, and a 6'8. Nederland was not intimidated. This varsity group, I think, was one of the first group of boys playing in Nederlands Little Dribblers program. They have played a lot of ball between little Dribblers, summer play (M.C. Flight), and school!!!

This is the first group coming from the Nederland Lil Dribblers program. They play really well together. Good Luck the rest of the games Dogs

Super 16 Results: in semis, a packed house saw Strake Jesuit knocked off HCYA in OT and decided against playing Yates for championship.


Super 16 Results! Yates Lions wins the 2011 Greater Houston Fall HS Championships due to forfeit by Strake Jesuit.


( Jesuit ticked off a lot of Yates folks, but understand totally why coach decided not to play, got to protect his team when threats are made)

All I know is that the Jesuit coach was looking out for the safety of his team, had nothing to do with the competition level.

Unruly Yates crowd making threats, is what I was told by person in attendance.

Wow....and even worse that the Yates fans are probably proud of themselves. Tourn of this type should be played in a better venue, IMO.

AAW is right, i was at the tourney and i got a good seat to watch the yates vs. jesuit game saturday. The yates fan were saying some pretty inapropriate things towards jesuit. I would of done the same thing that coach did, just go home with second, its not like this tourney really counts. All bout getting better, and thats what Nederland did!  ;D
