whsalum Posted January 19, 2010 Report Share Posted January 19, 2010 I don't think little dribblers hurts by any stretch but it's not responsible for success once you get to the high school level.I think for the kids to be successful in high school it's all about staying in the gym throughout the off season.Spurger went to the regional finals 2 years ago with a very good group and a different coach.Phillip Whittacre,JT Sheffield and Coach Stappert were the main cogs in that wheel.I will agree with ya 100% about the coach they have now ,he is doing a great job.Spurger will be lucky to keep him.I think this group has the potential to go at least as far as the regional tourney and then anything can happen when you get there.I hope the fans over there really get behind them ,they are fun to watch.
