First day practice comments/ lets hear them

Everybody started official practices today.  So how did they go?  Got to get in and see the High Island girls for a little bit and they looked good for the first day.

Everyone is still playing volleyball, but the first day was still today.... At HJ, this may be the most hard nosed group I have been around in 10 years...  Still some questions, but this group has alot of energy!!

why doesnt HI play Volleyball. You could practice all summer on the beach ;)

They would rather run cross country than stand around a bump a ball back and forth.

Yeahhh......... No, not at all 1880.  ;D But it's okay, I'm not the biggest fan of volleyball anyways.

Is it REALLY necessary that the girls start a week before the boys? I mean REALLY necessary?

Yes, so that the girls' and boys' regional and state tournaments will not be conducted at the same time.
