1. Is it REALLY necessary that the girls start a week before the boys? I mean REALLY necessary?
 2. Silsbee's #32 and #34....Along with Pheal Hill....Definitely.
 3. Shouldn't you guys put the Silsbee post players (forget the names) on this list?
 4. So let me get this right....Is Hardin Jefferson the ONLY school around here allowed to have a good team every now and then and be proud of it without sarcastic ridicule?
 5. Why is the related content below the Central vs. Ozen game Crime Stoppers?
 6.
Did anyone take note of 24-4A.. Angleton and Sante Fe look to be locks... Don't know who has what to play, but the outcome of this district will play a HUGE role in this Region. From all I get, Angleton is the most highly regarded team in this region... If Dawson or Friendswood slips up, that would put Angleton in division I and not II. Good news for PN-G and Dayton, not so good for Crosby, Central, or Vidor (whoever gets farthest). The other districts look pretty weak, Brenham is supposed to be very good this year, but they were not that impressive last year when Dayton put 35 points on them in two quarters. If you go and do look in the playoff bracket, the top seed of 20-4A in division II (probably PN-G) is in the bracket that would include Angleton (if they continue to win and end up in division II).  The top seed in 19-4A (probably Dayton) would have it's hardest test against Brenham (I believe in the 3rd round). If anyone has a good update on 24-4A please post, would like to know the remaining games and what will probably go down in this district.
Angelton is who we think they are!  You guys need to get off that jock strap!

I would hope that he is talking about WB's district schedule thus far as they have played 'cupcake' Baytown Lee and Channelview.  You cannot be talking  about Katy (2 time defending state champs) or Westfield ( a state power year in and year out).  Remember, Memorial did get blown out by The Woodlands.  Its just that Memorial beat their second state ranked team. Come on, 4a guy!  know your stuff before you get in 5a discussions.  ( you make us 4a guys look bad!   ;D )
soulja, 24- 7 isn't a blow out >:(  We just lost the game! >:( ;D I wouldn't mind a rematch with them either and central too!!!!!!  :D  :D I do expect a good four quarters tomorrow rey rey. I this game is bigger than northshore to me. I hope the field isn't MUDDY ;)  anyway 31-14 MHS
That 24-7 game was misleading. If the offense could have mustard anything up, it could have been closer.  That tailback at the Woodlands was nice but Memorial shutdown everything els. PS 24-7 is a blow out.  one score away from being a shut out.  It just wasn't an embarrassment.
 8. To prove my point I will go to the History books..  I will keep it within the last ten or so years.  Let's see what the greats in 3A in this area have done.  It is basically two small schools that rule this area when it comes to playing college ball. I already done Spears.  I will save the best two for last.  The Handcocks because they were so many.  They were all average players to glue guys on a midmajor D1 team. (proved my point) Ashton Hall great 3A player (has been a glue guy, might be an Average player now)  Lousi Arline was an average player at a midmajor D-1 and was all-star in high school.  Netherly at WOS was great in high school, but where is he now?  The HJ kids (good coaching goes a long way in high school) go on to play football or Junco, but D1 is a little out of reach.   The Best two were Thadeous Holden and Trey Peters.  Thad and Lou really don't count because they were 4A at the time.  But Silsbee counts as a small school town.  Thad was the better of the two and became a pillar on a D1 Tennessee program.  He looked like a star at LU.  But the level changes in the SEC and he became a glue guy and starting PG.  Trey Peters had all the tools and the height but he did not have the drive to play college ball. He was the best shoot and had the most pure game with usable talents at a big time D1..  Most likely though he would have been average at best.
 9.
By the way I Can Play...Who wins the 4a league and any insight on the 5a league would be a bonus...your opinion on the best guard and best big in the area, sleepers and any other topic we might be interested in.....
Not knowing whats in 3A and not expecting a big man there anyway I will have to go with the kid over in Nederland, but I heard Memorial has a nice big.  RCSsports has him ranked in  the Houston area.  Once upon a time I would have yelled Franks from the roof tops on being the best guard, but the Sophmore at Central is out shining him.  And maybe the kid at Kountze.  Forgive me for not knowing all of their names, but I know their games.
Learn "transition."  It's a better word.
Transition: movement, passage, or change from one position, state, stage, subject, concept, etc., to another; change: Translation: a function obtained from a given function by adding the same constant to each value of the variable of the given function Superimpose: to impose, place, or set over, above, or on something else. I used the word I wanted to.  As you read above the mathematical definition of translate is what I was trying to imply.  The function is college basketball. The constant is Benards Game!  The variable is the different levels of college basketball.  I am not talking about his passage into college game from the high school game. *sorry* I could try saying it this way!  "I am talking about taking his skill set and superimposing it onto the different levels of college ball." But I do not think that transition is the proper word for what I am explaining! Thank you for your concern anyway little buddy! On another note this is a message board not an English exam.  I will probably misspell words, speak improper English, use acronyms, and paraphrase quite a bit.  So I hope you have fun correcting me!
