;D  Congratulations to the girls 93 Spindletop Select Red team for qualifying for the STYSA Presidents Cup final.  The won their group and lost 0-1 to the Challenge in the EDDOA U-16 finals.  They will compete for the STYSA title May 23rd and 24th at Lindsay Lions.  Good luck to these young ladies and props for representing SE Texas soccer!

;D The 93 Spindletop Girls take a commanding lead on the 1st day of the STYSA Presidents Cup round robin play, with 19 points!  They beat Celtic Classic 5-0 and Lonestars Blue 2-0.  Looks like another trip to the Presidents Cup Regional's for this team. Congratulations girls.

Spindletop 93 girls win STX state Presidents Cup Championship and headed to South Carolina June 11-14 for Region lll competition.  No goals were allowed in the state final competition of three games....thanks to excellent defense and keeper Bianca Garza!  Regarding the first post and reference to the Challenge Blitz game (that they won 1-0): that eastern district final game was not played since both #1 and #2 teams advanced to state.  Blitz won the coin flip.  Although Spindletop had the state tournament wrapped up on Saturday, note that they won Challenge Blitz Sunday 2-0.

Natalie Hager was the top scorer in the entire South Texas President's Cup girls U16 competition. She scored 12 goals in the 9 games played, 5 of which were in the 3 games played in the state tournament.

Hager completely tore her ACL and partially tore her MCL this past weekend during their game.
