Vidor's Robertson to step down

Vidor HC Lance Robertson will step down as HC of the Pirate basketball team.

Lance is a good coach but is also a great guy. He was one of the few coaches who would call or text after every game (win or lose).

Need more like him. Good luck in your future endeavors!

No need to page the HJ staff now because Dick Vitale has already declared them unworthy of coaching at the "sophisticated" 4-a ranks.  They obviously have not seen enough of this big world.

Good luck to Coach Robertson. Vidor's losing a good one. Good coach, good character and always represented his program with class.

Lance is a class act and a great coach.  He should land on his feet and take his next school to the championship.  Good luck and extremely sorry to see you go. Vidor has lost a great person with a lot of heart.

Tha would be a good match for him as he will be back with Coach English and they were an excellent team in Vidor.  Also they are both class acts and great with the kids.
