piratefan
Congrats WOS..It was a decent scrimmage until late in the second Qtr. Alot of size, and a whole lot of SPEED!!
Guest Kelly Football
Vidor has size but no speed. Man if if ti would have went 12 min quarters it could have been 50-0 WOS. Just kidding guys, good luck with the season.
KFDM COOP
Vidor does have alot of size. Speed will be a problem like you said though..
piratefan
WOS had so much speed it was hard to get to the corners before the RB"S were getting dragged down.
Guest GoStangs
Vidor's got a lot of heart, as usual, and some good, strong players. They had trouble with WOS' speed on both sides of the ball, but they didn't let up and showed a lot of intensity throughout the scrimmage. Best of luck, Pirates! Gasilla
Vidor did play pretty tenacious out there. They have some big old boys, too. WO-S looked well oiled on both sides. We need to eliminate the penalties, but over all, I think we're ready to start.

Gasilla
That's a good write up and some very good kudos from Jeff Mathews. He's a class act.
woshigh
I was glad to see the hurried, no-huddle offense right at the end of the second quarter work so effectively. Everyone looked in sync.
piratefan
This morning passing by the Vidor's practice field they were out there hitting the sleds..I don't think this was a scheduled practice.. They weren't just practicing it was like hitting the sleds and alot of fast pace (dont ever play like that again, like you did last night practice..). They don't even play anyone next week and they just got done playing last night..So you make the call on that one..
Heb
That's a nice big scoreboard you have. Is that a post-Rita replacement?
vp93
That's a nice big scoreboard you have. Is that a post-Rita replacement? Yes, it is a new one. Though the one we had before the storm was almost if not identicle to it.
KFDM COOP
I don't know this new one looks taller.
