BC JR. won 32-13 against Vidor White. I just want to tell the rest of STJFL to be ready for the amount of support Vidor brings to town. They came in force. I believe that was the most we have ever had show up from a visiting team. Great fans and great coach's. They kept the BBQ pit going. I do not remember all of the scores but our flag lost the Pee Wee Red lost. The Pee Wee white won and the SR.s won also. We are young but have a lot of heart. Go BC!!

thanks for the compliments moose..I was one of the coaches of the jr white. good game ,it just got away from us that second half..yall have a very good all around team..Well coached..

BC was very good hosts and the reason for the pit to be busy because there was some good food coming off of it..

I believe the flag won ,1 pee wee lost ,and the other won..The jr and sr both lost..it was about an even day for both towns..real good people over there in BC.thanks  ;D

Good, i look forward to it when we (PNG Jr White) come to town this next Sat, we are a force to be reckoned with this year, im glad we are playing WOS this year, we didnt play them last year until the playoffs and it cost us

BTW is that kid on the WOS blue team #1 really 10-11 he stands head and shoulders above his teammates.

Holy cow, hes big!!! i saw him jogging and outrunning those kids on the Ned gold team, i know we play WOS white team, if we make it to the playoffs i think we got 2 kids that can contain him as they are big and fast, be warned tho they hit hard we left quite a few of Ned players laying on the ground after plays.

I don't have anything to do with that team but congratulations to you and your team for winning and hitting hard. I know the team and the kid. They really don't need a warning as they prepare every single week. The kid will be fine against your two hard hitters. This is not a kid that can be intimidated nor is his team. He will be just fine doing his job and taking care of his assignments. I'm sure they appreciate your warnings though.

I assure you he is not the only weapon you have to prepare for. Our offense was a little ragged in the opener. Good luck to your team, we sure will be looking forward to playing you in the playoffs should we both make it. Just curious, do you work for local emergency management?

While u worried about WOS Blue Team u better be worried about WOS White Team. They are better then the WOS Blue Team and you'll see them in week Three at PNG. They have the kid name KJ and he's the one that broke PNG back in the Playoff last year. If I'm not mistaken he score 3 touchdowns against ya'll. Just hope u all can contain him but he's not the only one too worry about it's about 6 or 7 whom came take it too the house on any given play. have u ever hear speed kills, talent and well coaching beats yor every time...... DON'T TALK THE TALK IF U CAN'T WALK THE WALK!!!!!!!!!

whew, we are all so proud of our kids no matter what team or league they play with. Yes, our offense (Jr - Blue) was a little ragged but I'm sure coach Rod with be correcting that this afternoon during that L-O-N-G practice we will be having! I know my son alone realized what he was doing wrong and has been practicing the "right way to knock somebody down".  He knocked me down a few times and for those of you who know me .. that is not an easy task to do!  :o

Looking forward to Saturdays game provided IKE stays away! :'(

I remember KJ and so does this team as most of them were on the team that met them in the playoffs, as i remember he was the one that ran almost every single play kinda like the big kid on the blue team so well be more than ready for the whole team.So bring it ;D we got talent, speed and the best coaches around, and kids that like the sound of pads and helmets as the hit someone.

no, this year im not doing the emergency management thing it took too much time away from my family.

    • Brewster….lmao. Watch that every time it’s on.    Great post.
    • A few Board of Regents agree for sure. Some administrative changes were based in large part on those moves.  Sam Houston is the only one this remotely did any service and of course they moved on as well.
    • The greatest point on all of this, and exactly what makes it a great day in SE Texas is the commercials are over!!!!  Phelan wasn’t all bad, Covey wasn’t all bad, but by the end of it I would have voted for Brewster’s “None of the above!”  Politicians serve their own interests and everyone’s politician is bad (except for theirs of course).  I personally am for: 1) Higher fuel prices, 2) More taxes and restrictions on private property owners, 3) Cancelling student-loan and even credit card debt, 4) Covid restrictions (bring back masks) 5) Giving more tax money away to countries at war (except Israel), 6) Tearing apart the nuclear family 7) Supporting college kids to protest anything and everything they want with no consequences, 😎 Higher and higher food prices 😎  Go Biden/Harris - just MASA (Make America Soft Again), Beto for a high-cabinet spot.
    • Thanks for the info, I didn't check the primary vote count.  I was posing that, based on anecdotal evidence, many who did not vote in the primary showed up for the runoff, and apparently voted for Phelan.  My next door neighbors were two that voted runoff only and voted for Covey, so it went both ways I guess.   The Houston Chronicle posted quotes from Covey accusing many Dems of voting in the runoff.  Obviously if they were able to vote in the runoff then they didn't vote in the primary, unless the voted in the Rep primary to begin with of course. .  "Covey’s campaign released a lengthy statement after the results came in, calling Phelan an “Austin swamp creature and King of the Democrats.” The campaign accused Phelan of courting Democrat voters in Jefferson County to bolster his early vote numbers, but Covey did not say he would seek a recount." Anyway, it looks like it's a done deal, until November.
