If Huck leaves Orangefield it would be a huge loss! The OF school board needs to cough up 5K and match this 2A school salary! This coach is old school, and the kind of coach that teaches kids lessons they will appreciate for the rest of their lives.  He is a true AD and is involved in every sport, not just football.  Please don't go coach  :'( 

Our daughter would love to play 6U select softball. I wish somebody would organize a team! Our sons played in tournaments at that age, and those were the best memories ever! Why not the girls too????

Does anyone know anything about this award?

Before the name was changed to the Willie Ray Smith award, I remember that KFDM used to give the KFDM award to the best player in SETX. Does anyone know what year KFDM started giving that award? Did it go as far back as the early seventies? It would be interesting to see a list of who received that award. I heard today that an AD/HFC in the triangle received that award a long time ago. Does anyone know if that's true? I don't want to name his name in case it's not true, but if anyone knows for sure feel free to post!

What area girls have schools interested in offering them full-ride scholarships? That might give us a true idea of who the best players coming out of the triangle are.
