Trumps DOJ played this perfect. 

They went ahead and filed a civil lawsuit seeking to delay certification if the fake candidate caused enough votes to sway the results. 

The DOJ knew the mainstream media would blast it and make it a big deal - that in itself would help Alaskan voters KNOW to pay attention when voting.  That is all it was done for, and it worked out perfectly......The New York Times just made it WAYYYY bigger. 

I believe Republicans are going to take this one.....
