Im rolling with the homegrown coogs in this one.  Will have to play mistake free and do what Hardin did as far as holding the ball.  Just have to execute in the red zone and finish drives.

Ok, last thing ill say about EC.  The QB is legit, strong accurate arm and runs much better than expected.  Backs and receivers are explosive and the defense was much more physical than they have been.  

Congrats to the Bucs.  I'll be interested to see what they look like in 3-4 years.  Our 7th and 8th grade teams dominated them Thursday.  Coogs are on the rise, this is a bump in the road.

Lol the only way I see buna competes for a district championship is thru a district re-alignment.

I don’t know about that being the only way. We saw Hardin win district last year. The thing about East Chambers is it isn’t always the athletes. They have had good coaches that have them ready year in and year out.

EC has a total of one actual transfer this year. The other two left for one year to get college recognition and came back. Even without them EC would have beaten Buna by a good margin.

Not Fontenot, he had D1 offers and interest before he left EC to join us in Port Arthur last season. 🤷🏾‍♂️
