The energy Coldspring showed with the new staff was off the chain. Running the spread the offensive schemed looked good with Quivey averaging 4 yards per carry. looks like he may be the leading rusher for the Trojans. They have a battle for the Qb spot and that will be interesting to see how it plays out. Having several receivers that can be play makers I look for the trojans to be able to throw the ball around through the season. On the defensive side of the ball the Trojans looked fair. seemed overall a little small but athletic, The 3/4 front they ran seemed to let the Lions gain few extra yards per carry, but it was the first scrimmage of the season. I am pretty optimistic on the Trojans this year and think it will be a battle for them to make the playoffs and could come down to the final game of the season for the Trojans.
