Here’s the real lesson to be learned by every nation on earth. Iran felt like they needed nuclear weapons to defend itself against other nations that had nuclear weapons.

Now you have two countries with nuclear weapons beating the holy hell out of a nation without any nuclear weapons. In hindsight, Iran was right. They needed nukes.

Unless you want the USA selecting your governance, you’d better arm yourself.

Wrong. Iran wanted nukes so they could eliminate Israel. It’s not rocket science.

As for being armed….my friend in Evadale and I could thwart an Iranian invasion, except that they are cowardly back fighters. I liked that the shooter at Old Dominion was killed by unarmed students. I believe they beat him to death.

Yeah. 2500 Marines deployed yesterday. Boots on the ground is going the wrong way if you think it’s gonna be in and out.

Geez, my friend, it's only been two weeks.  Trump had said 4-5 weeks.  So, let's give it a chance.

Why the US wants to seize Iran’s Kharg Island!  This is where the terminals are for Iran’s exports.  China is the main user of Iranian oil.  This is also the economic lifeline for the IRGC.  If we take this, this will effectively cut off their lifeline, their ability to conduct war.  I have heard that we basically eliminated all of Iran’s ability to protect this island.  So, it appears it’s only a matter of time before we control it.

From the article:

"U.S. forces took out military targets on Iran’s Kharg Island, but left in place its oil infrastructure, President Donald Trump said on March 13.

The assault came 14 days into Operation Epic Fury, marking the first time the island—Tehran’s most vital economic asset—has been targeted in the U.S.-Israeli campaign.

The eight-square-mile island 16 miles from Iran’s Persian Gulf coast is where 90 percent of the oil it exports is pumped from terminals into supertankers—up to 10 at a time—300 miles north of the Hormuz Strait. Most is shipped to Asia, with China the biggest destination.

Trump warned that should Iran continue to threaten shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, he would “immediately reconsider” his decision not to bomb the island’s oil assets.

“The United States Central Command executed one of the most powerful bombing raids in the History of the Middle East, and totally obliterated every MILITARY target in Iran’s crown jewel, Kharg Island,” Trump said in a March 13 Truth Social post.

“I have chosen NOT to wipe out the Oil Infrastructure on the Island. However, should Iran, or anyone else, do anything to interfere with the Free and Safe Passage of Ships through the Strait of Hormuz, I will immediately reconsider this decision.”"

I have a question for our friends on the left, or anyone, opposed to what Trump is doing in iran:  What’s the cost of nuclear missiles fired at our country?

Other countries already have nuclear weapons capable of reaching the United States, including Russia, China, and North Korea. What is the cost of the defense systems designed to address those threats? Do we not already have and maintain defense systems such as the North American Aerospace Defense Command, along with missile defense networks, early-warning systems, and strategically deployed defense assets around the world?

The United States spends billions of dollars each year on the military, the Central Intelligence Agency, the National Security Agency, the United States Department of Homeland Security, and defense contractors. The country has also monitored Iran for more than four decades. Yet the argument now being made is that the United States must assassinate Iranian leaders and seize Iranian oil because, if Iran obtains a nuclear weapon, it could not be stopped—despite the fact that the United States has long deterred nuclear-armed adversaries such as Russia, China, and North Korea.  If our systems are good enough to monitor Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping, and Kim Jong Un, aren't they good enough to monitor the mullahs in Iran?
