How do the UIL determine the semifinal matchups now ? I know when the games were at the tournament it was by record! For example it would make more sense If BU win they’ll play the winner out of SA VM/ Alamo Heights for travel purposes rather than Mansfield Summit or Frisco Memorial ?

Region I plays Region II

Region III plays Region IV.

It's just like football.

In United's case, if they were to win, they will play winner of Alamo Heights/SA Vet. Memorial.

It started last year but essentially it mocks football. Region 1 v 2 and 3 v 4 automatically for state semis. Looking at the brackets I don’t see any threats from region 4 for WB or BU. This was different last year as Billy The Kid  White and CC Veterans Memorial were undefeated #1 in TX when they played WB. That kid could play. His dad was their coach. He actually reclassified and said the heck with High school and is playing ACC basketball at SMU
