West Fork at Tarkington     7pm

Livingston at Porter      7pm

Baytown Lee at Huffman      7pm

Hamshire-Fannett at Nederland    7pm

Port Neches-Groves at Silsbee   7pm

Bridge City at Hardin-Jefferson   7pm

What's your thoughts on any of these games?

Bridge City scrimmaged HJ at the first of the season and handled them pretty well with mostly JV players and only a couple veteran varsity players on the court. BC does have a few players out sick and a starter out with a sprained ankle.

It’s been kinda hard to get a good read on HJ this season. If BC plays like they played in the Montgomery Tournament, it could be ugly.

I am expecting a very close game.

HJ has been up and down as expected, but they're starting to click winning 5 of their last 6. I would be surprised if this one is "ugly."

I agree.

BTW folks, tip off time is for 6:15.

That may take me out of attending.

Will just watch on NFHS.

Orangefield handled HJ more easily than they did BC earlier this year even though they were both convincing wins for us. However, HJ had their football guys and BC didn't. BC is a different team with Mungy on the floor and he is the catalyst that gets Bush going. No knock on HJ at all, but I got BC by 15.

I will say that HJ saw some pretty good competition at the James Gamble tourney that will benefit them greatly going forward.

HJ at home will be tough.

It's been a while since I've caught a game in Sour Lake. I know it was an extremely tough place to play in the Todd Sutherland era. Is it still like that?

I wouldn't say it's still like that but home is still home. This team is better than some are making them out to be.

Besides, I was told BC will be down 4 varsity players for this game.

I wasn’t meaning it would be ugly, just saying it could if BC played like they know how…toss of the coin sometimes if you know what I mean? Which BC team will show up?

All I can really judge it off of is the scrimmage that BC had against HJ, knowing what BC had as a team at that time compared to now and just looking at some scores. The first WB game surprised me the most but then the second time they played them, it was different. I do think it’ll be a good game for sure.

BC’s defense was nonexistent at the first of the season but they’ve found some good momentum especially with Football being back. BC is having to move up a few JV kids tonight to cover for the ones that are out. Looking forward to a good game tonight.

Mungy definitely brings a different dynamic to the court! Hoping it’s a good game tonight with no injuries!

Good luck to OF tonight!
