... or end up playing spoilers.  Dayton and Nederland were both beat up and flat from last week it seems.  I don't know what happened to Huntsville.  

Edit:  PNG was a little beat up and flat tonight also, in fact.

PNG played 5th string running back, some freshmen and starters were pulled in 2Q.

Well the Bulldogs unfortunately will wind up 3-7 this year. Hopefully next year will be much better. There is no one left on the schedule that they can beat. Thank goodness Splendora’s defense is worse. 1-6 in district this season. They must learn how to play defense or the same result will happen next year

I wouldn’t completely count out next week‘s game against LC, or maybe even the one against Huntsville, considering the way they played Montgomery. You never know which group of HS kids will show up with their A game on these teams.

... And dropped passes and overthrows ... But it was sloppy all the way around, bad coaching for Splendora, sloppy refs ... Anyway, good win, out of the way.
