OlDawg Posted yesterday at 01:40 PM Report Posted yesterday at 01:40 PM Usually don't start threads for other teams. But, I'm surprised this one isn't on here. This is a big game in 11-5A D1, and probably will decide PO seeding. DCTF has FWD as an 11 point favorite. But, I think it's going to be closer, and Crosby has a chance to pull an upset. The common opponent is Fort Bend Marshall, and Crosby actually played them closer than FWD. Crosby also had a pretty good non-district with their opponents going 9-1, so their record may be a little deceiving. I think this is a 3 point game one way or the other. Third seed may actually have closer travel with the way 12-5A is shaping up. Who wants it more? Quote

You can't at this point even pick a favorite. Anderson beating A&MC was eye popping. Quote

Anderson already has wins over CS & AMC. Quote
purple reign Posted yesterday at 05:28 PM Report Posted yesterday at 05:28 PM It wouldnt surprise me any if that race ended in a three-way tie for 1st place. Quote
Cougtalk Posted 16 hours ago Report Posted 16 hours ago Crosby is solidly in the second echelon of teams a two round three is overachieving type team that will likely get bounced in the first round due to the very deep and difficult region. That being said I think we are likely the litmus test team for the district, if you can beat Crosby then maybe you have a shot at the top two, but if you can't well your fighting for the 4 seed and a first round exit. We aren't the final more like the midterm. Quote
1970 Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago I won't be surprised to see Crosby win this one by a touchdown. On a side note, I still have trouble seeing Crosby classified as 5aD1, for some reason. It's been a while since I drove through there. Up Hwy 90 from Dayton, I guess they rate having a Starbucks . (Dayton doesn't have a Starbucks, but they beat Crosby.) Quote

LamarCard2011 Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago Crosby, Kingwood Park and Friendswood battling it out for those last two spots. Big two weeks here for Crosby, could be out of the playoffs or punch the tickets in the next 14 days. Quote
