purple reign Posted 20 hours ago Report Posted 20 hours ago Porter is 2-1 with only loss coming at Dayton 35-14. Angleton is 3-0. This will be a battle between 2 dual threat QBs, Angleton's Bryce Duron and Porter's Stone Singletary. Both pass well and can get good chunks on the ground using their speed. Porter is getting good use out of a large RB who transferred from Spring Legacy, Landon Binford, Angleton has a large RB of their own in Wyatt Neyland, who also started last year but they use a lot of other backs. I'm glad to see they are using the TE more in passing, Jackson DeAtley. He's the son of long time Brazoswood head football coach, Dean DeAtley. He's also a good blocker. Angleton's best WR Kaleb Jammer who missed the entire district season last year is back with the team and is averaging 115 yards/game. The Massey matchup tool picks Angleton 42-7. Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago DCTF has Angleton as a 48 point favorite. I see it about the same. Angleton, 56-13 purple reign 1 Quote

Not that it really matters but Binford is a Porter kid and has always been there he just went to Legacy for one year and came back. Quote
