Bellville wins 17-14…. Ugly 2nd half for Bellville

Considering HF beat Hitchcock in a close one, and just got waxed by Crawford, I’m curious how Bellville beat Crawford by 20. That team has massive athletes all over the field.

Edit: just saw that their UT commit at wide receiver didn’t play against yall. He’s unguardable.

Yeah he didn’t play… Should’ve beat them by more than 20 but Bellville has this thing where they don’t play well in the second half and it’s gonna cost them games if it isn’t fixed…

Also not a knock at HF but Bellville tends to be better defensively than HF…So him playing doesn’t mean that Crawford would’ve beat Bellville but definitely makes a difference

I agree with this for sure. Especially with HF’s D-1 DB/LB out for the year. Sure would’ve helped keep things more respectable last night. The horns had pretty decent coverage most of the night. A lot of their big plays were just their 6’2”-6’3” receivers going up and winning jump balls over our 5’10” defensive backs. Credit to their line and qb for creating the time for their big guys to get down field to win them, though.

They were big for sure…It’s pretty impressive how far they have come from last year…
