Yes, and very rich for the taking. I’ve dozed off with company over, while in my favorite chair. Walked them out when they were leaving. Asked my wife if I was asleep and she said I was snoring. Not something I am proud of, but it happens  in later years. It reflects Trump’s age. I really don’t see how any president gets a good night’s sleep.

I agree our elections are crooked as hell but Trumps been saying it for 5 years and his DOJ has not prosecuted anyone yet! Time to put up or shut up about it. As I’ve said before there has been zero accountability for wrongdoing against our country and Trump except for a possible prosecution against Bolton. Very disappointing. I’ll say it again fix our elections or nothing changes.

Unless there is a super majority in both houses, everyone is a lame duck.

In Obama’s two terms, he lost majority control over Congress for the entire last 6 years of his presidency with a split Congress. For the last 2 years the Republicans held both houses.

Were you concerned about the term lame duck for the last 6 years of the Obama administration?

Trump is a lame duck president now the same as Obama was for 6 years and Biden was for all 4 years. There is nothing to deal with it.

Neither party can pass a law without the support from the other party unless they control the House and have a 20 seat majority in the Senate. If those two situations do not exist, every president is a lame duck president.

But it sure sounds impressive, if the other person doesn’t understand it.  Like…….

The question becomes, if Trump does not get a majority in both houses or looses one or both by a few seats, which side is blamed for 2 years of nothing ? Does that help Vance/Rubio in 2028 ?
