They didn’t like Massie not wanting foreign aid for Israel. What they failed to honestly tell the voters was that Massie is against foreign aid to anyone. He wasn’t singling out Israel. He just thought all the foreign aid money would be better spent at home. What a concept. 0.39% of the Kentucky population is Jewish, isn’t that something. Lol House seat was bought in Kentucky last night by foreign actors. Isn’t that awesome! Smh DCT and OlDawg 1 1 Quote

AIPAC couldn’t seem to stop socialist/communist/pro-Palestinian Mamdani in NYC. (I believe the largest Jewish population in America.) But, they sure could take out someone who didn’t want to provide Israel foreign aid in a state where they are less than a minority. If people don’t question this, it’s a real problem. Porter 1 Quote

OlDawg Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago At some point in time, this has to stop. This is socialism. Period. It's bad enough that it's the government picking winners and losers. But, if you don't think it's an issue buying equity stakes in businesses with your money, let me ask you this... When are you going to sell if you want to and get your money back? This is now--officially--out of control. US is taking equity stakes in IBM and other quantum computing companies One of those companies is linked to Donald Trump Jr. and another to a top Pentagon official. He could always run for POTUS as a Libertarian candidate in 2028. Not saying he'd be successful. But, he would be the most high profile 3rd Party candidate since Perot, and Johnson made inroads in 2016. Wildcard. But, you never know. It would definitely add a twist. Quote

Could it be that NYC has been in a downward dem/socialist spiral for years? What a hell hole. Money is a huge factor, but if NYC is hell bent on self destruction, then there is no hope. Quote

The current Administration is practicing outright socialism buying equity stakes in multiple companies which basically distorts the markets, and makes them psuedo government companies. Isn't that also self-destruction of capitalism, and the free market system America was founded on? Where's the outrage? Are we 'hell bent on self destruction'? You're well aware of my thoughts on government overreach and socialism. Regardless of Administration. Why does it seem this Administration is on a fast track to government ownership stakes in so many firms? Quote

I just wanted your thoughts. To me, if the government is going to play investor, give me my SSA and Medicare money, let me invest it as I choose, and provide for myself. I retired early. I believe I saw where 100,000 out of 800,000 voted. Trump won’t be on the ballot, and who the heck knows what the Dems will trot out. It’s not out of the realm of possibility that a viable 3rd Party candidate could be competitive. My gut says people are getting sick of both major Party offerings. I read somewhere the number of people not associating with either major Party was skyrocketing. I don’t remember where I read it. But, it was a reliable source. Quote
