Harris is an elite talent. I think he has an extremely high ceiling. He is pushing 6'4 and has arms long as all out doors. He can shoot pretty darn well from outside. I expect Silsbee to play for a state championship this season with Miller, Rice, Jones, Bottley etc......

Harris definitely has the most upside (imo) of any player from Silsbee in the past decade or so. But he’s going to have to get some hardware this year to be remembered in that pantheon on the high school level.

I agree and I loved jordyn’s game.  But their respective offers should tell you what you need to know.  Jared is a bonafide high major kid.

And as you know, in high school, potential is just that.  Silsbee has been fortunate to have a lot of great (not just good, great) players recently, including those two.  Based on their high school careers, I’m taking Bush and McCain.  But this group still has a say in the matter.  I hope this is the year.

The new kid (Jones) will be special unless something goes horribly wrong. He'll certainly get lots of exposure with the Tigers heading back to Arkansas and New Orleans this year.

Most think Coach Sigler retires when he graduates, but there's a catch. His little brother will be entering high school by then. Coach Sig is going to be coaching into his mid 70s if he changes his mind. Might get to 1000 wins though.

    • I get it now. You are a Biden fan.😀
    • A good question that you choose not to answer I guess lol. He was good enough to play varsity on most 3A teams as a freshman. He just wasn't the best option as a starting qb for Woodville yet and the coaching staff decided it would be better to have him getting more reps on jv rather than being a back up or playing another position on varsity. It was a good decision in my opinion but I can understand your stance to some extent. But the claims that someone is purposely trying to hold him back is just bogus.
    • When did you see him. Probably didn’t realize he had virtually no reps in practice he just stood around and got a little work running opposing teams plays. The only instruction he got was going to camps  and working with the professionals which was a blessing. Most kids only get daddy ball instruction that’s why you don’t see them at the next level.
