Eric Dickerson of Sealy and Donnie Little of Dickinson. I never seen anyone run the ball as " magicaly " as Dickerson did. As for Donnie Little, he single handedly beat my Silsbee Tigers in the state semi-finals in 1977. It was a sight to see.

Jamaal Charles and Reggie McNeal, both could single handedly take over a game.

Steffan Starring- Vinton HS,La.  to Mcneese State to New England Patriots. Pure Athlete. Also, finished 6th best national time in hurdles while at Mcneese.

There were a lot of great ones for sure. I just never personally saw them when they were playing on the HS level.

But out of the ones I did see:

Steve Worster, Bridge City 1964-66

As my Dad and I was standing near the fence, of course I had to look thru it to see anything, Dad said

"See that guy standing by the gate with the Longhorn cap on, that's Coach Royal"

Steve Worster was the best I've seen.
