WHO WILL WIN IN 22-4A?

If Nederland and Lumberton win this week, it won't be decided until then.

Not true anyone in the top 4 could lose to any of their games and it could change everything. I hate to say it but if NED and png beat Dayton and win the rest of the games and the L-Train wins its games the NED-

L-Train game may not mean as much. So Prove yourselves we beat them now yall go out and do it. If Yall allow Dayton to win out could mean that one of our local teams stay home.

WHO IS  NEXT

Lets make this real simple for EVERYONE.

If Nederland wins this week,,, Nederland, PNG and Lumberton are going to the playoffs.

If Dayton wins this week, Dayton and PNG are in and the winner of the Nederland/Lumberton game is in.

Even if Lumberton lost to LCM, which wont happen, the scenarios would not change.

Thats all there is to it, cut and dried.

BUT!!!!

IF PNG loses next week,  and Dayton wins out ( that means they beat PNG) then Lumberton wins out,,, then PNG, Dayton and Lumberton would be in

PNG 2 losses

Dayton 1 loss

Lumberton 1 loss

Lumberton would be district Champs!

Nederland cannot win the DC because for us to get in PNG has to get in too. The best we can do is 2nd place.  8)

If PNG loses to Central, wouldn't there be a possible 3 way tie with points (PNG/Ned/Dayton)

PNG loses to Central/Dayton

Dayton loses to Ned / beats PNG

Ned beat Dayton/ loses to Lumberton

Lumberton is DC.  PNG/Ned/Dayton tied at 5-2 with Ned in a bind down 12 to PNG already.

From my doorstep to Lumberton is 756 miles or over 11 hours!  I am leaving Thursday the 8th and driving straight through and coming back the next Monday!  I want to be there firsthand to see them make it!!!!!  I thought about coming down for one of the post season play off games but being this far I have no idea how far in advance I would know of a schedule for them.  Plus I want to see it on our own football field.

;D It really is simple UNLESS PNG loses to Central. That is the only thing that could complicate it. If PNG wins, then the winners play and the losers stay home and take the winners girlfriends out to dinner while they are playing.  ;D

I've been to several games in the playoffs where Big Ned has blown Dayton away. I'm pretty sure that we are not going to blow you all away but I see the DC going through Mid-Jefferson County this year.

And I was at the game in dayton last year.....Doesn't matter. Two different teams than last year ... especially Nederland. This will be a good one.

756 miles divided by 11 hours = 68.73 mph - TNTITAN - that's covering serious real estate!

There is an ex-astronaut in Clear Lake, that can supply you with nasa diapers and some MRE s- cuz you won't have much time to stop. )if your plan is to cover 756 miles in 11 hrs.

    • We'll see. I don't trust us.
    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
