How did Kelly get so good so fast?  I remember Newton playing them about 3-4 or 5 yrs ago and they were pitifully (is that a word?) out matched.  Pendland ran wild on them all night.

ah man, I'm sick of the they can recruit junk...most of these kids have been in Beaumont Catholic schools since pre-k...we just have some talent right now...its been a while...stump helped turn things, but wouldnt know defense if it bit him on the ****.  Long is doing a good job.

Well you cant say we dont recruit, but DONT get me wrong the talent that is unrecruited is amazing, with Donnie Carona, Anthony Fazio, Taylor Carmona, Doran Guillory, Doug Prewit, Brendan Bean, TONS of our younger guys...they are all long time private school guys..but we do have a some transfers from area public schools, mostly in the junior grade, and a few scholarship athletes who help us out a lot.

By who's standards......????? Maybe for TAPPS, but as far as UIL, they're just average. Kelly might win, but BC has a really young team and once they get used to the spread, Stump will have them winning games again.......just might take another season or two!

im pretty sure kelly is loaded and they are probably going to dominate bridge city.... Kelly hasn't played very tough games yet but thats probably why they are averaging like 36 points a game and allowing 13...   but the did beat silsbee down pretty bad in their scrimmage if you consider them good..

for a school its size, tapps or uil, kelly has alot of talent....i think we'd be small 3a or 2a?  put us up against any school that size and we'd have a chance
