Hardin Volleyball

No they won't, Shepherd does have some height couple of 6'ers. But the team are still putting it together. Replacing their setter and ds (both were 4 year starters). So the timing and back court play is not gelling yet and the timing is off on their hitting. Maybe if this game would take place later in the year but not right now.

I was misinformed.  Somebody told me Shepherd was much improved.  They lied.

I be honest most teams in this region will get beat like that by Hardin. They are a very good team. The match up between Hardin and East Bernard will be good. Shepherd has a long way to go, but they are not even close to ready to compete with Hardin.

On a side note. With all of those banners that Hardin has hanging in that gym, you would think they could come up with a bigger gym or more seating. Other than that the Hardin fans were very good to us.

How many more non-district games does Hardin have before entering district play?  Does anyone in district have the ability to steal a match from those Lady Hornets ?

There are 2 non-district games left... Beaumont Monsignor Kelly today at 4:30 (varsity only) and Huntsville next Tuesday.

CH going for the sweep. I been saying it all year.

I don't think anyone is shocked by this.  For the 3rd time in 5 years, CH has eliminated Hardin from the playoffs.  If its not CH, its EB that usually gets in the way of the Lady Hornets.

    • What the writer stated wrt crossover votes in the primary/runoff: "Covey and his supporters Paxton and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick said Phelan only won because Democrats crossed over to vote in the Republican Primary for him. Paxton said Covey’s campaign identified “at least” 1,442 Democrats who voted early in Jefferson County in the primary runoff. Texas does not have party registration, but a voter’s primary voting history is public. The Covey campaign has not released its methodology behind its claim, but  This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up  by The Texan news website found that 9% of Republican voters in the March District 21 primary had voted in one of the previous four Democratic primaries. However, only 5% of that group had voted in all four previous Democratic primaries. What Phelan’s opponents did not mention is historically Democratic Jefferson County is undergoing a political transition towards the Republican party — the county judge switched his affiliation to the GOP in 2017 — so many residents have a mixed primary voting history. And Phelan’s allies in the House dismissed the idea that liberals swung the election. "I knocked on doors, hundreds and hundreds of doors, made calls for Dade,” Republican Rep. Jeff Leach, R-Plano, said on Mark Davis’ radio program Wednesday. “I did not speak to a single Democrat down here in HD21. Not a single one." "
